President Biden wrote on social media that he was ending his campaign for re-election after intense pressure from within his own party. He endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris to replace him atop the Democratic ticket.

What makes this an accurate description? “Henchman”? I’m imagining someone going around breaking the knee caps of women who haven’t had abortions, is that correct?
More like going after people legally who expose partial birth abortions and trafficking in their (babies’) body parts. Accusing them of doing the things they expose. Confiscating or censoring the evidence they acquire. That sort of thing.
Like I said elsewhere, I support none of the above. I think we need to scrap it all and start over. The whole system is disgusting.

Is Kamala Harris a good person? I have no idea. Will she be a good leader? I really don’t know.
But does this tweet have the kind of energy a lot of Americans are looking for? Hell yeah.
At the end of the day, I’m not looking for some big hero, I’m not looking for a candidate who can promise to save the world - I’d like a president who, quite frankly, will vacate the office in peace if they lose.
We know Trump isn’t that person.
I’m no Kamala worshipper (in fact the only political worship I see in this country revolves around Trump), but she’s got some good things going for her, and she hasn’t called any governors saying “Find me a few thousand votes”, so that’s a good start.
