I know/understand most of your references.. it’s probably an age thing.

I hate to do this and not refer to the passage: ‘one picture says all words, but compelled, did (at considerable angst,

Plus, age is so relative, it is no longer a concern , except to a singular being heading for a Singularity.

.

..that’s one way to put it.

I’d say that many of your references are from eons-past/European-related, so obscure to many.

..and anyway, who doesn’t know Pinocchio? :woman_shrugging:

Right, but so? The relevance is still there, when a boy’s father’s father, when he was a boy, thought to tell the truth, and he thought he did, because that’s what he was thought, well, Trump is trying to set back the clock as well. And that’s why he got elected, for a far gone metaphor.

And. That metaphore, is as real as the voters saw it that way. Maybe got carried away by the joys of simple things and acts of necessary survival.

The days of scarcity are well remembered here, when sans sausage, people spread garlic , or grilled garlic paste on fried bread, and that did the trick, it was better than the real thing.

I must confess I wasn’t there then, not yet born, but European scarcity is ongoing among some purists, …

One of uncountable singularities, I presume.

When given room/reasons to doubt, people will always choose doubt.. those that have been lied to and disappointed most of their life, will do so the most.

What boring lives such types must lead.

Living in the realm of disappointment and lies.. not my vibe/not my world/not my reality. :woman_shrugging:

Yeah that’s why you’re so mean to everybody. And you think you’re better than everybody. Pride comes before the fall.

Thank You for the game, do You see how mate could have been avoided?

By prior to the move, if the rook would have been moved to the rook position, then the king could have moved to the right , and that would have prevented it. Seeing that is tricky., but that life saving move could only be played temporarily.

The trouble started way earlier, where the bishop slipped into a pawn supported security. It could have been upset by simply taking the bishop with the knight.
