by mistake, coz tired.. will reconvene tomorrow.
Great, and let’s play not for who wins, but for having a fun match. Have you tried playing with puzzles ? I do that between moves, or try the coach, she/he comments on the moves , tough to beat her though.
.
I did a few puzzles whilst waiting for you to accept the challenge(s).. they definitely helped me up my game, then I got bored and stopped. ![]()
.
It’s definitely a fun (and interesting) game(s)
And it’s a Chinese invention of how many dynasties back, and it is a thinking game on many levels to boot.
The internet version was pre-empty any reboot to come, sans graphics.
Deep Blue has only tied once with the then Soviet grand master, since then, grand masters have become 2nd tier to politics, if not yet have overcome them.
I’m afraid that’s not true.. China doesn’t even seem to be in the picture.
When was chess first invented?
AI Overview
Chess originated in India in the 6th century CE, with the game chaturanga considered its earliest precursor. The modern rules of chess emerged in Europe in the 15th century, with standardization and universal acceptance by the end of the 19th century.
Did the British invent chess?
Chess probably came from India
Although still a topic for debate, most historians agree that the ancestor of modern chess was a game called chaturaṅga which can be traced back to India and the 7th Century CE.
.
You mean, playing by the use of coordinates alone?
..kinda like all the childhood games that were played on paper pre-computers, no?
.
Computers computate.. they’re very good at it..
Humans think.. the smart ones are very good at it..
I neither mix nor conflate, the natural with the manmade, on a comparative level. ![]()
What if they are conflated rather then mixed in the beginning?
()
When you are thinking ‘them’ as mixed, then you already are thinking them as separate.
Or, is the conflated mix can not be thought of as separate.
)()(
.because if you think of conflation starting the whole process, one cannot include mixing within that process,
So a thought of a conflated mixture becomes or logically inconsistent.
a mixture implies both, so one goes along thinkin that they were separate to begin with.
(At this point it can only be said that both versions are possible , but a primary mixture means that it is necessarily duplicitous from the beginning. As to that certainty, a primary conflated structure, must as necessary to contain only one substance)
O mean by the above that it’almost impossible to distinguish a natural thought and one that is simulated.
The fact that we are able to play chess through the internet, can’t prove wether we are or are not becoming cyber active in thinking rather than using the old human in the vat in the the process of thinking. The more it can be said that the more we use the so called computing process, the more we rely on it, and the more we forget the comparative way , and not just because we’re lazy. It’s just that we have to keep abreast of thi newer mode.
‘Use it or loose it’ is becoming a necessary normal function of adapting to the changing environment. Man has abused the natural way, by having borne too many of ups, and we can not help becoming more and more like a cyborg.
Either that or Man becomes the living dead- the vampire of old.
What if.. one can not help but go along with it ?
Feel free, to go with that thought/that line of thinking.. I will not be clarifying mine.
.
Simulated.. by AI? ..so a human v computer thought?
..if so, that would be dependent on whether computers think in the first place. ![]()

With the false notion that chess originated in China?
.
..those that can not help but ‘go along with it’ are bound by their obsessions to ‘go along with it’.
Some obsessions are healthy, many aren’t.. that might make for a good starting-point, when deciding/enacting/making something a reality.

The consensus is..
AI Overview
While a definitive “inventor” of chess is difficult to pinpoint due to the game’s ancient origins, most historians agree it evolved from the game chaturanga, which originated in India around the 7th century CE. This game featured pieces representing different divisions of an army, which later evolved into the pieces we recognize today.
Here’s a more detailed look:
- Early Origins in India:
The game chaturanga, meaning “four divisions” in Sanskrit, is widely believed to have originated in India, specifically during the Gupta Empire.
- The Evolution of Pieces:
The original game’s pieces represented infantry, cavalry, elephants, and chariots, which later evolved into the modern chess pieces: knights, rooks, bishops, and pawns.
- Spread and Evolution:
Chaturanga spread to Persia, and later to the Muslim world, where it was known as sattranj. It eventually reached Europe via Spain and Italy, where it evolved into the game we know as chess by around 1500 CE.
- No Single Inventor:
While the game’s origins can be traced to India, it’s unlikely that a single individual can be credited with its invention. The game developed over time as different cultures adopted and modified it.

Talking of chess.. those last two games huh? ![]()
..though I have a feeling that you engineered both those ‘draws’ to happen. ![]()
.
Another round, soon?
My and I had the feeling that the one of two games was engineered as well with minus one rook at the start. How did you do that?
Note to Loca:
Sorry to discontinue, but lost it, that Ii, something has come up. Hope you understand

Strange. I play some chess occasionally, I think it is a good game. I asked the Ai if trump plays chess because some people say he plays 10D chess, but the Ai could not find anything about it. The Ai told me he isn’t even a gamer, while other presidents play smash bros and other videogames. Trumps kids used to play videogames with Michael Jackson because Trump was such a hard worker that he never had time for his kids, Trump was not the kind of father that plays with toys. Trump also complained about his kids playing violent videogames.
Anyway, I played Gomuku on my Nintendo Switch, I like the game, it is sort of similar to Connect Four, but Connect Five, and it is played on a Go board. So naturally I tried to learn Go, and I hope you are not offended, but I don’t care for it. The rules don’t feel smooth to me and it feels artificial. If I ever try to play Go again, I think it will be the digital incarnation of it, because playing physical doesn’t feel natural to me, compared to other games.
I also prefer playing Risk digital, playing physical feels totally artificial to me. I prefer Risk Factions even though the game is full of bugs, all the other digital risk games feel soulless and corporate to me.
There are some good physical board games out there. I played Blokus and it is good. I played both the square and triangle Blokus. I have a list of good physical games which are Blokus, Blockhead, Chess, Chinese Checkers, Connect Four, Gomoku, Mazing, Poker, Rummy, Santorini, Stratego, Yahtzee, and more. I used to play Uno but I feel it is more for children and too random. I played Mazing which is also good, but the game is abandonware, and it is also a broken, too random, and an unbalanced game.
I used to play Monopoly as a kid but then I realized it is an unfair and random game. The game was originally made to mock Capitalism, and it was intended to be an unfair and broken board game. Yet Monopoly almost has a Monopoly on board games. What does that say about human nature?
Similar to mario party, they make it too random and the stars at the end are too random, its very corporate and lame.
On the other end of the spectrum, I tend to shy away from overly verbose and too nerdy games that are too complicated, both physical and digital. If a game takes more than 4 hours to learn the rules its not for me. For example I downloaded a digital Yugioh demo and it had dozens of pages of rules so I uninstalled it.
Yes, it was and always will be a mixture of both, can’t describe it only in the future that may mean nothing. Anyway it was abrupt and as soon as back from Cambodia, or even before, for leaving in a couple of days, if we can play again? Unless there will be internet there.
Until then , may Your days be spent in peace and Joy.
