A bit ostentatious? Probably. Self indulgent? Definitely. But since I’ve already typed up half a book in here, why not a single post to say my goodbyes? Respect to the respectable, and ILP as a whole is a respectable bunch.
It’s not you ILP, it’s me. Alas, I’ve come to realize more and more that time is limited, precious, and I have to spend it wisely. I don’t mean that to belittle this website or its users. This really is a website for those who love philosophy. I did very little philosophy here. Unfortunately I must now trim the hedges of my time-budget and reshape it into a topiary more suited to my goals. (nice metaphor, admit it.) In other words, this ‘itlog’ has to hatch now.
It was fun. All for the price of free - and while this website is not petty at all, the things I did here was petty. Can’t be petty anymore. Gotta follow my own philosophy now. Walk the walk. I mostly harassed other people and made crappy one liners here. I did learn some things though. Thanks.
