Can you feel it?

Sweet melancholy music
That puts the monster to sleep
That silences the demons
And revives the soul

Oh lovely melody
With tunes so bittersweet
Raising spirits high
And soothing the scars of the past

Through wondrous sounds
And nursery rhymes
Or singular chimes
You bring laughter and tears

Those who hear the music rejoice
But those that feel the music live

-Thirst

Raising spirits high
And soothing the scars of the past

… seems to contradict the rest of the piece. No?

That’s music for you.
Paradox city.

I think that’s a Guns N’ Roses song…

-Thirst

I like this Thirst.

Thanks Rainey.
Though I think you are just being kind.

-Thirst

Thirst, this is, by-far, the best poem I’ve read of yours - strong from its open to its close and doesn’t go limp in the middle.

“Take me down to the Paradox City / …” – finish this lyric for please. I got a kick out of the parody of that G-N-R chorus to Paradise City which was your response to Daybreak’s reply.

bravisimo,
Nells.
