Jews in exile have not neen able to own land. Usually by law, in the last 2 centuries by habit. A Chilean friend of mine once observed that to him Jews seemed to be almost entirely masculine. Lacking feminine side. There are plenty of exceptions to this rule but in general I think that fits. And its a logical consequence of being deprived of the possession of Earth. But the trend of earthification has stopped a few decades ago, I think probably when priorities shifted after barely hanging on in the Yom Kippur war.
Much of the Jewish religion is aimed at the rediscovery of Earth. It’s called Shekinah, the divine feminine. But this has become an abstract, almost meaningless term. Still, of the three monotheist religions, the Jewish one is the only one lacking what Zarathustra alludes to in ‘Hinterweltlungen’ - the behindworldlings, which is related to the notion of afterlife. Jews don’t have an afterlife doctrine. In other monotheistic religions it is possible to interpret life on Earth as a test, only some challenge to see which afterlife you’re fit for. Christians usually transcend this view, but the doctrine allows it. Judaism does not. There is no real notion of afterlife. Afterlife is mostly progeny. So this in essence is very Earthy. But what is lacking is a ‘spiritual’, i.e. deep-psychological practice. Logical, because of millennia of Earthly dispossession. There was simply no means to ground the psyche in the forces of the soil.
With the possession of the land, the responsibility of the Israelis to themselves to come up with a serious earthy component to their spirituality has arisen. Not all can live in kibbutzes or farms, and in fact this would not be enough. Precisely because of the compelling strength of the religion, it is the religion itself which needs to be infused with some Earth. But there aren’t any Jewish, or otherwise Abrahamic doctrines, rituals, for this.
I would not be saying this if I did not haven an idea of the specifics. I am referring here to an ancient Germanic practice. This may sound distasteful to many current Jews, but remember that the marriage of Jews and Germans had long been a pretty happy and fertile one. Even the colloquial speech before Ivrit was conceived, Yiddish, was largely a form of German. Im very afraid to throw out this very simple idea here though. And it’s kind of tricky as in ancient German world was one of forests and soft soil. It was easier to expose youngsters to the chtonic elements. I’ll leave it at this then, for now. The idea is to expose the youngster, at the onset of puberty, a night alone to the spirits of the soil.

In typical socialist fashion, you evoked many terrorizing images, and intersperced, implicitly, because I’m not sure it would even occur to people like you all that there even exists an explicit level, a few strategic positions.
From those endless paragraphs of sad images of bombed buildings and blown up children, of hazy mysticism and gossip, the actual things said can be written in a few sentences.
Iran, being the only serious socialist state in the region, must, in order to prosper financially, be able to extort all of its neighbours. Because most of its neighbours are Muslim, this can generally be done by soft political agitation through inserted cells. It will not be impossible to twist religious dictates using the old socialist formula (an evil elite corrupting the True Morality of the Small Man and amassing undue wealth thereby, necessitating controls by the Rightous Socialist Regime over all flows of money, i.e., all transactions of value) and extend them through inserted cells as small parties or organizations that will present such controls in the domestic political sphere. All against such controls, yadda yadda, infidels (in America, they would simply be called Capitalists or whatever it is, Enemies of The People).
Israel, however, cannot be inflitrated in this way, both because its security apparatus is airtight, and because they are not suceptible to Muslim propaganda. They also happen to represent a massive portion of the business transacted under the desired Iranian sphere. Iran cannot compete with them on business terms. It would be idiotic, first of all, because, in business terms, countries don’t compete: they do business, and all prosper (like Saudi Arabia has figured out). It is a socialist, i.e. destructive regime that relies on the extortion of wealth.
For these reasons, Israel is the only real threat to its interests, and the only real target for elimination for Iran.
This is what you mean when you say that Israel is not “just minding its own business,” but “threatening the interests of Iran.”
“The people” will get mad at who “the people” are told. If there is no funded effort, eventually people will just get used to the fact that Israel is there, doing business with them, and the old enmities will be forgotten. Nobody worries about antisemitic Saudi Arabians, do they? Or even Egyptian ones anymore. This whole “will of the people” is non-operative, it is just a reference to the result of propaganda. Some propaganda sticks, in the mind, but without a parallel funded campaign, it is just grumpy people. Means nothing.Their sons will pay lip service to it, and their son’s sons will have Israeli wives.
The implied position is that you, as a socialist, see Israel as a problem. Not because of religion, not because of anything other than it is a direct threat to a socialist paradigm in the region, which only Iran is in a position to uphold any more.
That means that, at this point, it is a discussion between the hard socialist (China and the EU), soft socialist (Russia) and sane, coherent (USA) superpowers about where each is willing to let Iran stay as.
The US had aligned itself with the socialists for a time. This gave Iran the edge to grow. It grew to the point of being an actual existential threat, and ran into a Republican wall that got elected. The US, in conjunction with Israel, based on the fact of the existential threat, and the fact that Trump has shifted the balance to where the disease of socialism can finally be erradicated, along with all its poverty and its horrors, from the region, decided that the balance will be shifted permanently.
What the new balance will look like will be a result of the implicit negotiation between the three blocks that I mentioned. It will most certainly be one where Iran is many notches below where it was. It can conceivably mean Iran completely turning to the sane side, with the Shah reinstated.
The task of slime like you will be to obsucre this by any means possible, paint it as an emotional picture of X dimensions (some bogus “Judaic” mysticism, little children blown up, bombs blowing up buildings, evil Jew capitalists, whatever it has to be), and sap any and all political capital possible from the Sane block. I think it is a world with less and less ears for it.
