This subject sort of came in a thread I had done in the Philosophical folder concerning ‘The value of beauty’. What are the ecological aspects of cochroaches? They are a hearty insect which for the most part repulses people. I’m sure they are a contributor to the compost effect in jungles, helping break down forest floor foilage. They are probably the least changed species over millions of years and will exist most anywhere.
Are there any suppositions for the ecological validity of them?
