color of skin; evil?

I have read somewhere, not sure where exactly but I remember it saying that evil is everything that is dark. Colors, unhappiness, narcissism. Focusing on the dark of colors, it mentioned race. African Americans are dark in skin, referring to their skin color, the author aforesaid that they are evil because of their color. Don’t misjudge me, I am not a racist, I don’t believe in his view or should I? But the reason why I ask is, could this be possible? Could darker forms of life, be wired differently in the sense of evil than lighter forms of life?

Allow me to just express two uncomfortablness that the above quote gave me.

Africans in general are dark, Africans with “American” behind, are not universally dark.

The latter half of the quote is uneccessary, referring to their neccesity being nonexistent.

The concept comes from a version of the Noah story where his one son sins and then is turned black. That provides an explanation as to what and why black people are.

Don’t mind TheAdlerian, jebd, the guy’s just kidding you. Africans aren’t sinners, I repeat, they are not sinners. They’ve been having too much sunshine, that’s all.

That’s a fact from the bible Uni.

However, is it a fact in reality, that’s the question.

A fact in the bible with capital B! I see… Damn, this discussion is getting more serious than I thought. Ok, let’s do it.

Let’s say it’s not a fact in reality… Shit, what we do now, man? Jebd? Do we take reality or bible, you know? What we do?

The reason that I’m pointing it out is because if it is in the bible then some people are going to take it very seriously.

lets say reality

There are better reasons to think that African Americans are evil than the colour of their skin…

someoneisatthedoor,

No you dihuuuhh [-X (a little ebonics there)

jebd,

Could you please explain what you just said?

In the meantime try to think that all black people come from hot, really super hot ass, countries and need an extreme tan to survive. I know that I would die from sun burn if forced to life a rough kind of life in many equatorial countries.

your making it seem like i wrote the statement. i was just wondering if color can actually prove what is evil. this author said, evil can be found in dark forms and also saying that because of african americans skin color, they are evil. i cant remember any furthur information on why he said that.

No, color can’t prove that something is evil.

Let’s say that red spotted mushrooms (there really is one called red cap) are usually poison. Well, someone could make a candy that looked just like that and tasted great. So, it’s not the color but the content of the object that makes it good or bad.

The same goes for humans. If the person’s mind is filled with evil the they are evil not matter what they look like.

No No No, you guys are all wrong.

I’m half black… so I’ll let you in on the secret.

We’re black so that we can be evil. Yep… it’s true.

I mean think about it, you steal from a store at night, how are the cops gonna see you in the dark when you blend in?

I was born white… but I did so much evil shit I started to turn. Others are born naturally evil… the purebreeds. Some of the darkest people on earth even have special evil lightning powers.

That darkness represents evil (and conversely that lightness represents good) has nothing to do whatever with skin color; just as if there were purple people, it would not imply they were of royalty, nor if there were red people, they would be borne of love, nor if there were yellow people, they would be inherently timid …

Downright absurd question.

OG,

Thanks, I didn’t know that.

Can I nominate this for worst non-PoR philosophy thread this month?

This is even worse than my thread on pedophiles (which, as I expected, has had a lot of views and replies but very little actual discussion) so you’ve got my backing in that regard…

Hmmm… we just agreed on something, and a tear didn’t form in the fabric of reality.

Interesting…

Jebd, i dont’ how you would even consider this question  , but if we’re to get technical, what you saying is the logical fallacy of “cum hoc ergo propter hoc” i believe, which means that “with this, therefore because of this”, basically even though there are many relations to the dark being bad adn light being bad, that does not mean dark color although being dark, is bad and light color although being light is good.
