Seems to me that calling it imagination, or third anything (or sixth anything) is a misnomer, because you can sense all the senses in memory and dreams. Interestingly, some who lack certain senses “behave” (react) as if they don’t—some while conscious, some during OBE/NDE.

I can go along with that. I think that in a particular “present” moment, we are involved within a “lived experience”, of loss or emptiness which influences us and we interpret as being our “deepest hunger” without being still and withholding judgment.
