That’s great that you are happy about that, but you and the people in your life are not all that matters. I would gladly pay as many taxes as necessary to maintain happiness for all people.
We should allow population growth because it would be unethical to force people to abstain from reproducing. If you tell someone they cannot have babies, then neither can you. If you have had babies, then you have done something wrong according to you.
You probably should have made an argument that people could actually respond to. The argument you have given has only statements of what you think, and there is no logical connection between them whatsoever.

Why we should keep population growth at 0? I don’t see any charts, numbers or arguments backing your position. New York is one of the biggest US cities, and we had a freaking evacuation yesterday and today, and let me tell ya’, the population level is normal.

That’s easy, we can count people who are born and immigrate, and then randomly select the same number of people who were born here to be deported. Net population change of 0. Seems sufficient as there are only 2 conditions listed for USA collapse
I feel it would be far more efficient to have a lottery and just kill the same number of people that are born/immigrate.

The problem with human beings is they’ve been overpreoccupied with matter for the last several hundred years, we should encourage more philosophy, reflection and discourage activity. I feel the earth is right where it needs to be.
One of three things will happen eventually.
Either a horrible disaster will happen and reduce the population for us; the fittest will survive and humanity will become better because of it.
Or a massive war will be fought unifying our species; we will then have to turn our attention outward to the stars where we will need all the lives we can to tame the harshness of foreign worlds and the void itself.

I think the established bankers and CEO wouldn’t survive were a world war to happen, there would be much sadness and pain but i believe in the end it would give the “developed” world a good reality check and open doors for different ideas and new cultures.
