This is my favorite logo. Perhaps it is coincidence that communist parties use the same colors, or that the commercial M&M’s are red and yellow as well. Corporate logos really have that flash and appeal don’t they? Advertising genious?

but in certain cultures different colors have different intrepretations.
for instance in america. McDonalds uses red and yellow becasue aparently research shows it a. induces hunger and b. makes you anxious thusly wanting to serve you, eat and get the hell out.

I don’t know about the colors but they make the seats very hard and uncomfortable to ensure you don’t loiter after you’re done eating. It’s all about turning tables.

Red and yellow make you hungry. Is this a result of mcdonalds, or is the mcdonalds logo a result of that? I can only speculate, but my money would be on the latter. I read a fun bit by the guy that invented the fedex logo a while back, and I would imagine that most corperate logos are invented in the same manner.
I derno about you, but to me, all them cheese-burgers and fries are as sexy as shit! Golden eMMMMM; with exciting red-red background color, like red-riding hood, at the age of 19.
