Time had a beginning in the consciousness of human beings. It began as we humans noted the regularity of seasons, of days and nights and of the phases of the moon. We invented clock time for industrial and ceremonial purposes. Reality is atemporal. The universe we live in had a beginning, according to the big bang theory. It evolved into causing a planet that houses us.
So your problem would be with teleology–is the evolution we are aware of purposeful or not? Those of faith believe it is.
There is a necessity to co-create at least a virtually convincing model, so that it would appear that faith could be guaranteed in spite of the entropic phenomenologically reduced beliefs, that’s plunging headlong , as a result of the sociall implosion based on ‘facts’ which do not measure up to equivocate the plunge to a zero sum.
Nature had provided the cybernetically evolved formula, seeming to be grounded in math,.
That mathematically collapsed resonance( has an inorganic source, which negates the actual evolutionary origin of the species.
This necessary paradox, without which evolution post the primates man was supposed to be originated from, could never account for ‘the missing link’, the expanding hyperphenomenal bubble that if left unchecked , would condemn this world not only to a veritable catastrophic result, but devolve the possibility to break the eternal evolutionary possibility for the emergence of mankind.
Big Bang is neither beginning nor end…they cannot find the singularity because it does not and cannot exist - as it would contradict existence itself.
Time is not a ‘thing’ but how a consciousness experiences flux, or change - relative to its own metabolic rhythms.

Chaos suffices to explain how life emerged…just at it suffices to explain how order, or perceived existence emerged.

Evolution suffices to explain the multiplicity of life forms.

We are as Ichthus notes, co-creators with God. We have the freedom to love or to destroy. It’s all about choices now. As Auden wrote–we must love one another or die. Our world is a plenitude, a whole of many parts, all interconnected. I suppose it is fun to play the competition game in action or words, but that will not bring us together in peace and in love.
