Criteria for godhood

Ec. How is your consent being violated? Let’s see if we can fix that in a way that doesn’t violate anyone else’s, since only that which does not violate consent is a legitimate interest (correct?).

Ichthus. I’m not happy about you.

Everyone deserves the right to have everything they want when they want it without bothering anyone.

I’m going to make this very succinct .

Fuck you. I have a job to do. Your god fucked up massively. I even have to do the job of your god. It’s not fun.

Then you are a theist about my god (as you perceive him)… but you don’t trust him.

You’re a goofball. When you got promoted, you wouldn’t do what you expect God to do… your vids gave good reason not to do the alternative plans…

Fricken WHAT DO YOU (legitimately) want??? There are plenty of legitimate wants being fulfilled RIGHT NOW. One of them is that God is not dictating you into a heaven you consider hell.

He says, “You’re welcome.”

I think that was a double entendre, like “Thy will be done.”

You get (reap) what you ask for (sow).

If you ask in his name… self=other… it’s heaven.

Ichthus. If you want to get into this with me…

I was prayers. You wanted me here. (This species). I’m an ancient. I’m not god. Wiccan’s summoned me here. To protect them from god. I don’t like being back here.

I’m not a misogynist or a racist. I see you for who you are. I’m just old.

So much drama. I was never a fan of drama.

I can drop god into hell without even thinking of it.

Feminists don’t like god btw.

My powers are everywhere right now. You’ll see them grow.

Don’t disturb the dead. It’s really bad karma.

Help me follow YOUR damn advice, Ec. I want to try to be somewhat decent to you. You SAID it’s not that hard, so… tell me what’s it gonna be, Ec? Do I have to remote control it out of you???

“God works in mysterious ways,” what does this mean?

It means that God is God of the real world, and the point of departure for what is real isn’t Ecmanud and what he wants. That is the starting point being used. Ichthus didn’t catch this so that’s not a good sign.

And Liebniz taught: look closer always, God left nothing unreadable. You can always zoom in. Not, though, if you satisfy yourself with “it is this and that is that!”

God as the representative of the real world. A world which precedes you, and all humans, and understanding.

The mistake Ecmanud makes is that he holds that the matter flux is asymetrical, but then seems to believe that his spirit world is, and that God and all truth is there. But what if the place to find God and all truth rather is that world which you know to be asymmetrical. Where would your arrogance be then.

The point is love despite circumstances, which is real as lived, which requires we communicate what we want, so we can treat the other as self (love despite circumstances). It is the point of departure/arrival, and how you get there & back again.

That too is a cover for not looking, a sticker to put over the big hole to call it a flat surface.

PZR… you’re full o’ baloney!

Psh.

@Carleas the bots really are cramping my writing style. This is what I had meant. “Is that a complete sentence?” This stupid machine looked at some Googlechat output and thinks it can teach me what a sentence is.

I’m fucking translating De Bello Gallico, you know what I mean?

Know your place, robot.

No, you misunderstand. You seem to believe that the literary representation of God in the Bible is the “true” God in an exclusionary spirit. I say that it is one of many literary representations, all of which are like the proverbial “finger pointing to the moon,” in an inclusive spirit. Some representations are not even theistic in nature, but they still mean the basis of existence.

That is freaking HILARIOUS!

I’m glad I could entertain you, but your reply does nothing to address the question at hand. In fact, it suggests that you are unable to think inclusively.

That was to Ec^.

This is to Bob:

You’re pissed off that “There is a God” excludes “There is no god” and vice versa.

I am curious why your exclusivism is so important to you. I understand how the OT was a narrative of Israel, a people that felt themselves called out of the nations to be a people for God. Jesus probably followed in that tradition, feeling the time had come, but Paul made it inclusive by extending the blessing to the nations, “people who were not my people,” because he understood the prophets were saying this.

As I have travelled the world and visited mosques and temples, I have found people worshipping the ineffable Ground of Being by many names. If your God is compassionate, He will direct their prayers to Himself and acknowledge their reverence for that which they cannot see. I abhor the lack of compassion I see in evangelical teaching and am truly puzzled as to what gospel allows them to condemn good people whose circumstances have given them a name other than JHVH or Jesus, with a self-aggrandising lack of humility instead of extending a brotherly hand of affection towards them.

Criteria for Godhood: me.

Everyone who lives is making a mistake.

Life is a mistake. That doesn’t give you the right to make mistakes. It just is what it is.

I know what’s possible. It doesn’t manifest.
It never did manifest.

Hell bait is an interesting concept.

Every being in existence is in hell…. Even if they don’t know it yet.

Then there are deeper pit of hell.

Then there is the deepest pits of hell.

The question for me is… why do you even want to be here?

This is my life.

I have tranquil sleep. Then I wake up and think, “what spirits do I have to protect today.”

That’s not a life
