Anyway, there can be no moral arts and counter-decadence without weapons. One can not protect from decadence through isolation or with words, and women are all against war: “my children will not be raised for war”. Women are our deadly enemies today.
The classical music has usually many motives from the bible (which are not typically ressentiment) and maybe one needs to know them fully in order to listen the music and recognize the story in it. I am really an amateur in this music. But the opera seems to be neither music nor choir and I think someone called it a degenerated form of music.
Maybe we need to start listening the choir to transcend into the instrumental music…

It is possilble to have apowerful voice without Control, but much less likely. Though I still don’t see why you need to be you and a guard over you to be not decadent. That is decadence. When form overides expressiong and content. Like French Royal Court in the 1700s.
As far as melancholy, that is one of the experiences people have so it will be part of the mood of some art, and this is actually great, since it can provide the flexibility to deal with that emotion/state, along with the aesthetic potentials there.
and Bowie had tremendous Control of his voice, likely still does, but I have not Heard the latest. Aside from the need to work melodies in with chord progressions and the various rhythms he incorportated into Rock. He needed Control to be in character, since much of his work was in one character or Another. Watch someone produce an album and you will see it requires a great deal of Control. Self-Control is a confused concept as if there were two people. Of course we are often encouraged to do this, by the decadents.

Moral races and cultures: ancient: Greeks, Aryans, Bactrians, Medians, Egyptians and many other … all died of. We know from them how a moral work of arts looks like, but we probably don’t have such arts because:
Industrial races: taken a religion (Christianity) and scripture from this moral race (Cyril and Methodius) which was decadent. To this race belong all Slavs, Germans, Celts and Latin populations, and many other.
