Deep thoughts about free bird (faux turkey)

If you can’t change the bird, or teach an old dog new tricks (to stuff up their sleeve) (bend over and I’ll show you), it isn’t free to change… it isn’t free to land for very long… it’s condemned to be the same, which it calls free to feel better about itself.

Maybe this bird needs to change … maybe a change would do it good … maybe things don’t need to be the same? Maybe freedom is never free? Maybe that old bird needs to go to war with itself?

I heard turkeys are so dumb, they drown when it’s raining because they keep their beaks up in the air to catch it. That’s a myth right? … an urban legend? Tell me that’s fake news.

Isn’t it weird how the eternal is unchanging and yet subsumes all change? Otherwise, it couldn’t be free to (would be powerless to) demonstrate its love. Wouldn’t that be a super sad story?

What do you get when you cross a turkey with a duck but it’s tofu? I’m not crying, you’re crying.

i forgot to not to

give you

a fake hint

to get you off the scent

Don’t know, but:

If you draw a line in the dirt right in front of a chicken, it will stare at it, completely fixated until you remove it again.

Gosh. I always wondered why the chicken crossed the road.

Either nobody stopped it, or they removed the barrier.

Noice.

Thanks for that just-so explanation; I’d’ve never guessed.

Is that allowed? I’m phoning the apostrophe police.

I am the apostrophe police, and … hm.

Anyway…

Half truths… I heard that term listening to MLK Jr’s “letter from a Birmingham jail” on Spotify before/on the way to work.

Reminded me of Zeno.

How are you gonna get to the whole truth? How are you gonna measure your way to the whole truth if you measure it by halves?

No one ever traverses to the whole truth. It has to approach you — you can only receive.

Ask… and you will receive. You have not because you ask not.

…or you draw a lot of lines in the dirt—or zero lines at all. I’ve never done such a thing without cost. I meant cause, but both are true. Saying yes to something says no to all its contradictions.

This is stupid. I’m abandoning this thread to my chess app.

Thread muted.

Ahh, one law for us, and another for the law. Hmm.

You’re muting your own thread? Well you started it.
