Do atoms have rights?

We should learn from them shouldn’t we James… atoms are wiser much wiser than humans. But Atoms can not know what we can know and from knowledge can come evil.

But of course thank you I’ll be damned. I shall convene barbarically among myself.

Yes yes, I only ask very foolish things but in reality I am just interested in your education that makes you wise. Is it a very exclusive spiritual school that includes the school of life or is it an ashram or a political party? Because it can be anything I am curious what it is, because wisdom hides in nature and it is often in stranger places than you would seek, and there are much more strange places than you think. At least than I think, I think at least.

Nothing I can’t live without because you seem to not be so eager to reveal your sources… that is okay, anything you have in your mind that is sacred and sanctified for you, you should probably not share it with people who might not appreciate it. I one time tried to explain my experience in a LSD trip with a good friend and he just kept saying the wrong things about it that made me feel he didn’t appreciate for a second how impactful it was for me and how real, and I started to dislike him and think about him as a disrespectful and ignorant being. That was really bad and maybe the best lesson I learned from the whole LSD.

You can say that but i am not against it either. That is why i specifically asked you this-

But, you replied-

See the tone.

Nevertheless, these two links may give you some idea-

you can ask for any further clarification if you find something worthy.

This is an excellent Point.

Let me tell you a story.
Years ago, decades, I was looking at either the MCATS or some parallel test for gettting into graduate programs in Psychology. One the test there was a question, true or false - one can gain psychological insight from smoking marijuana. Now the answer you were supposed to give was ‘false’. Which is just silly. That it is silly doesn’t mean smoking pot is good or a great path to wisdom, but to flat say it is false is simply idiotic. One can notice facets of one’s emotional and other cognitive experience more easily when high - as long as one is not habitual. LSD likewise. But here we had on the side of science and rationality the clear answer that this was false. How can they flatly deny something they seem to have no experience of? Well, there’s the whole cultural and political side, but really it is easy to dismiss as meaningless experiences one has not had. To box them, shelve them and forget them.

Religious experiences also.

People do not have to accept the experiences as necessarily correct interpretations of reality, deeper reality or otherwise, but the speed with which the modern mind grabs at the experience and puts it in the trash box in their own minds is pathological.

Tone, what tone SanJay? Are you offended that I said that I would not die without knowing what your school is about? I am sorry. It is true, though. I will not die because of a lack of knowledge about your education even though I am interested in it. Thank you for the link. And thank you for your tone, for what it is worth. I appreciate everyones tone, it is part of a character, even if they do not please you sometimes.

What an insane story Moreno thank you for sharing it, it just goes to show how our education is politics with other means and politics is war with other means, so education is war. We need to win the hearts and minds of our children against those evil drugs and save them for Jesus!

And yes the modern scientific attitude is only for pathetic losers.

bbh,
You misunderstood me.

I am not neither concerned about myself nor your tone offended me in anyway.
The issue is not me, but you.

Forget about me, if you ever inquire anyone about anything and would say - Although, i am interested but would not die if you do not tell me, odds are in the favor that he would shut the door on your face, for the simple reason that is not the proper way to inquire about anything to anyone. Think about it.

Though, i did not follow that route and gave you links in reply. If i was feeling offended in anyway, i would have not replied you at all.

I am not being angry but trying to tell you that before learning, you have to learn how to learn.
That is first lesson that i learned in my school of wisdom; Be humble, not arrogant, as arrogant mind cannot ever learn.
The choice is always yours.

But you seem arrogant.

Not so badly but you think you know everything and perhaps that is so, but then, does knowledge cause arrogance?

Maybe humility leads to arrogance?

Hmm.
They are the same, is it not??

Yes.

Not at all.
I am being pretty simple and straight forword, without any fuss.

sanjay

Well this is only what I mean:

I am not being angry but trying to tell you that before learning, you have to learn how to learn.
That is first lesson that i learned in my school of wisdom; Be humble, not arrogant, as arrogant mind cannot ever learn.
The choice is always yours.

Maybe all knowledges aren’t the same, and some are acquired by pride.
The humble will never know!

sanjay

So Sanjay I dont mind arrogance even if you are not arrogant I dont care let’s discuss. Let’s comment on Morenos story.
What is your mind speaking to you?

See? Humility leads to knowledge leads to arrogance!
Haha I am Socrates motherfucker!! (but friend)

Well, yes, kids, but these were tests for people moving from college to Medical school or doctorate programs in psych.

However pleasant it is to have a barbarian horde agree with me, I didn’t say this. A scientific attitude I can work with. What often is considered by the ones with an attitude to be scientific attitude, that can be shitty. If only, however, they were losers.

No. Some people gain knowledge without becoming arrogant. Certain personalities decide that the knowledge they have jusftifies their attitude which others note is arrogant, though the persons in question may Think it is pride or confidence. Those personalities will seek out something to justify arrogance. It might be moral goodness, as they see it. It can even be humility. Beware the consciously humble, for underneath a bear sized mole of arrogance may be tunneling. Zen even has stories about this: monks crossing rivers with a girl, the monks who are more nothing than each other, and so on.

The arrogant assign something value or copy the evaluations of others. If knowledge is valued, they may be arrogant based on that. If humility is, they may be arrogant about that. Even ignorance can be used for arrogance. Think of anti-intellectuals decrying their lack of all that Sissy knowledge getting in the way of their common sense. People can be arrogant about their skills in baseball, in bowling… People can be arrogant about what they do not do. Oh, I never engage in… Arrogance find a quality and then is arrogance about it. Arrogance is creative and flexible. It can work with what the arrogant have to offer, which often is very Little.

There is a picture hidden within
another picture. I look and look
and cannot see it. But, finally,
when I DO see it, I see it
immediately every time. It is
obvious to me. But others have
not yet seen it.
Is it arrogance when I say that
I know something they don’t?

Not necessarily at all. So far we have what seems to be a statement of fact. If you are wrong about what is happening this might be a clue you are being arrogant.

But I see the horse too helper.
No, you don’t see the horse, only I can see the horse.

LIkely arrogant.

I can see the horse so I am better than other people.

Arrogant. (I mean, if we are dealing with those pictures that have hidden pictures and this is not a metaphor for something much, much more important)

Only brilliant people can see the horse.

Likely arrogant.

And so on.

And if there is no horse you might be arrogant.

Or you might just be wrong.
