Do you believe in Physics ?

Do you believe in Physics ?
You don’t have to be so sure. Why ?
=== .
How does Physics look now?

The basis of the Physics consists of:
1.
Abstract ‘ inertial movement’.
2.
Abstract ‘ideal gas and ideal particles.’
3.
Abstract ‘absolute black body.’
4.
Abstract ‘entropy’
5.
Abstract SRT negative 4 - D space,
abstract 5D, …….and 11 - dimensional spaces. .
6.
Abstract separated absolute space and time of Newton.
7.
Abstract ‘virtual particles’, ‘dark matter and dark energy’.
8.
Abstract ‘big bang’.
9.
Abstract " method of renormalization ". . . . . . etc.
=========…
And therefore we can read.
Conclusion from the book ‘ The Holographic Universe ’
by Michael Talbot.
‘ Science is not always as objective as we would like to believe.’

Conclusion from some article:
‘ One of the best kept secrets of science is
that physicists have lost their grip on reality.’
============ . .
In my opinion to understand the paradoxes we must
reconsider the old basis of the Physics.

================== . .

Physicks is the only true physics. Physics is mythology and superstition. An angel told me so.

Of course I believe in the facts, am I retarded or a creationist? People who should know, tell me that it is so. If they are wrong other people tell me that too. Then I go away and make up my mind for myself based on some sort of logic. Physics is also what happens after the evidence is in, not the actual experiment but the whole process of thinking about it, from inception to Nobel prize.

That’s true of only some of the more out there physicists. Some have disappeared up their own arses I think.

Ahh, I was just looking for somewhere to show-off this quotation:

from What is a Law of Nature?

I believe in quantum physics and there is alot of material evidence for believing in such.

It doesn’t matter, physics believes in me.

I checked into it and it turns out it doesn’t and in fact it thinks you are a prick. :wink: j/k

I’ll rate physics when it gives me a self-cleaning house and a waterless/sonic shower, but until then… it’s ok, as there are many many things that I for one can happily live without.

I think this is a very interesting topic.

I used to argue (as a hobby) on youtube videos against creationist and theist debates. One of the most common argument is that cosmological one, and theists have to assume God is special. Or some will add weirder assumptions like the first cause must have made a choice…etc. The best way to argue against that is that since all these assumptions were indefeasible, the burden of proof lies on the creationist/theists because the world works without those assumptions. Maybe it’s ockam’s razor.

But then, we realize that physics is also a big bunch of crazy assumptions. 10 dimensions, 6 of which are smaller than a certain size. I’d guess that means those 6 dimensions are somewhat a subset of the first 3 dimensions. Dark matter? Yes, it would explain certain observations, but still assumptions.

You have to believe in Physics to the extent that engineering based on it has yielded results. However, I realized that I can’t be arrogant that our notions of science trumps other “mystical” beliefs. I mean, I need to catch up, but are we agreed that time is linear or not now? When I lost my religion, I became a firm believer in no life after death. But really, how do I know that? Every moment, my body loses cells and regenerates new ones. Maybe 10 years ago, I had none of the cells I have now. When I look at a picture of me as a child, is that me? Is self the memory, or just the body, or the personality…etc? Maybe there is this life-force and some abstract life-well that we all go into when we die. Maybe we do reincarnate?

physics has given us alot of things though like

hydro , electronics , materials , space shuttle , satellites , mars robots etc…

not saying that physics is perfect but its not without its successes either

Therefore we use science as it is more realistic, and scientists observe how the world works. People have to rely on their observations, experiences, reasoning and logic, not in superstitious beliefs.

There is no “maybe”, some cells do not divide.
There is no evidence of reincarnation and there is no need to believe in it. Reincarnation alone has many philosophical problems that aren’t solved either.

How did you say ,that reincarnation is not possible.
For your kind information soul is fadeless.
Soul is a energy ,and energy can neither be created nor be destroyed.

Conclusion ‘from some article’?!

Doesn’t exactly sound like the most reliable sourcing, does it?

Agree about that issue cause every facts proven by experimental methods has supported a theory; now known as the Law of [Insert the word]. Cell division can be seen under scanning electron microscope for living cells and light microscope for dead cells.

I do believe Physic cause for instance gravitational force you can feel it. When you go to the moon your mass is 1/6 lighter than on Earth. Next was, gravitational potential force converted to kinetic energy when you have a turbine rotate to create renewable source of energy(hydropower). That support 1st Law of Thermodynamic. Many more, if you willing to have an open mind and heart to learn.
