Donald Trump locks down Washington D.C. with police and military

As of yet nobody knows why except for the multitude of recited bullshit reasons for doing so.

We all wait in anticipation to see what he’s going to do next.

What the Don is doing is responsible spending by using tax payer dollars to pay 800 soldiers to walk around DC, where a person gets robbed maybe once every couple weeks, instead of deploying them in cities that have real epidemic violent crime.

Or, they have something planned coming up whatever that may be.

Trump is a clean-freak and doesn’t like homeless encampments.

Maybe he can support tiny-homes instead of tents.

Not a joke, I literally know he is a clean-freak, because he asked 13 year old girls to put on gloves when she gave him a handjob, because he does not like the “germs”.

The question is, will politicians allow tiny-homes this time, or will they burn them down like last time?

Tiny homes won’t work unless you have security surveillance posted 24/7 as property theft and violence is unfortunately very prevalent in the homeless crowd.

One of the biggest problems in terms of housing.

.

This seems to be the initial actual reason why..

..then it seems that an entire clean-up of the city ensued.
.

Reason enough?

There are no direct official statements or confirmed official sources explicitly stating that 37 stores were looted in one day in Washington DC found in the search results. The reports and videos mentioning this number appear primarily on social media and news commentary channels, but they do not cite specific official confirmations from law enforcement or city authorities.

For official crime data and statistics, the DC Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) provides daily crime data on its official site, but current publicly available summaries or bulletins do not explicitly confirm the exact count of 37 stores looted in one day.

.

When I have searched online for crimes that I know have been committed, I too have found no trace of them on the Internet.. doesn’t mean they didn’t happen then, does it?

You don’t think that crime figures can be doctored or go unreported?

President Trump sent a warning to Washington Mayor Muriel Bowser (D) early Friday, threatening to extend the federal takeover of local police in the nation’s capital and citing “inaccurate” crime reporting data.

“Washington, D.C. is SAFE AGAIN! The crowds are coming back, the spirit is high, and our D.C. National Guard and Police are doing a fantastic job. They are out in force, and are NOT PLAYING GAMES!!!” the president wrote on Truth Social just after midnight Friday. “As bad as it sounds to say, there were no murders this week for the first time in memory.”

“Mayor Muriel Bowser must immediately stop giving false and highly inaccurate crime figures, or bad things will happen, including a complete and total Federal takeover of the City,” he added. “Washington D.C. will soon be great again!!!”

The Justice Department (DOJ) opened an investigation this week into the district’s crime reporting data. The probe is headed by the Office of the U.S. Attorney for D.C., the same office that said earlier this year that violent crime in Washington has reached a 30-year low.

The president visited federal law enforcement at a U.S. Park Police center in Anacostia on Thursday evening, arguing the administration’s takeover of local police is already paying off.

“It’s like a different place, different city,” Trump told the crowd. “Now, I think right now it’s better than it has been in years and in a couple of weeks, it’s going to be far better.”

The Trump administration launched its crackdown on crime in D.C. earlier this month, announcing that the DOJ would take control of the Metropolitan Police Department. Trump also deployed National guard troops to the area.

Since the Aug. 11 announcement, around 630 arrests were made, including the detainment of 250 migrants without legal status, according to the White House’s data.

Local officials and residents have pushed back on the administration’s moves.

An extension of the federal takeover would require Congressional approval under the district’s Home Rule Act.

The lying Left, fear-mongering, whenever Trump does something good.. there is only one version of reality, so in this instance, which is the correct version..

@MagsJ

The reason politically democrat cities are falling into ruin, disrepair, and crime is because of multiple decades of outsourcing good paying jobs overseas, nowadays only the super wealthy can afford to live in these urban metropolitan centers. To be fair, republicans and democrats are equally at fault for that colluding with big business the last forty years.

I am not sure sending in the military to these cities is the proper response, it probably isn’t where it will exacerbate problems even more.

.
..suggesting to ‘leave things as they are’ doesn’t sound very beneficial.. seeing that the people who actually do live there are happy about the [positive] effects that have occurred, who are you then speaking for?

..some exacerbation is the by-product of change.. humans are used to adapting, especially to morally-helpful change, so let there be change..? :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

This is all beta-testing for the upcoming china-style police state Trump is supposed to be reigning in when after thousands of people are killed in riots after the economy collapses, the west is thrown into upheaval.

Or, like that movie where the aliens demanded the government to do a pseudo-lockdown or they’d destroy everything. Countries under alien control mining percious metals and mass manufacturing materials for construction in space and on the moon.

I’m indecisive. The first is ideal for me, but the aliens one is just cool af even if i end up locked in a factory apartment making gadgets for the overlords for the rest of my life.

It’s a giant catch 22. One must think about how through gross incompetent mismanagement they let these cities become what they are for several decades without intervening where now as a last resort things have gotten so bad they’re willing to send the military in just to restore law and order. I can see both sides of the argument.

It’s also a slippery slope, local law enforcement is suppose to differ tremendously than that of the military as it is suppose to be a civilian workforce organization. The danger is that once they start utilizing the military domestically for a few things that gradually they might be tempted to utilize the military everywhere for all occasions.
