The Octopus was taking a jab at me with that right there because i used those effects in a short one time. Here’s what happened. Months ago (or maybe last year when i got the electrolux 2000, can’t remember) i commented on his vids, and he came by my channel to check me out. Ever since he’s been watching me and trying to get me to tighten the fuck up and become a real drummer. He keeps dropping these impossible beat instructionals, like I’ve got time to practice that shit. I can’t even play a cow bell with my hand, and he wants me to play syncopated threes on the foot? Fugetaboutit, pal. Then i drop another fake drumming vid, and Sibs gets mad at me again. This goes back and forth for weeks.
That whole vid was for me. I’m Chad… or I’m supposed to be. Sibs likes my story and wants me to be the old guy who makes a comeback. One of those deals. Iddint he a sweetheart?
So now i feel bad and gotta start all over again with the fuckin paradiddles and flams. Do you know how excruciatingly boring drum practice is?

Listen to 30 seconds of that first… listen for the ‘sword fight’ going on over the beat. I wonder if i could mock those sounds on my kit and do the whole part. I’ve got everything but the cereal bowl cymbal… but i can find a similar sound in the e-cymbal set. How cool would that be to dub all those accents over the beat. Here’s a test run. I’d have to tune all the pitches right, though. This is just a sound test.
