E = h v ?

I found this little snippet and I suspect that it will send a physicist or two rushing to his computer.

Once we factor in Coulomb’s equation, and we measure space using tetrahedral coordinates instead of cubical coordinates, then the need for Planck’s equation E=hv is removed, because the energy will now be measured to be the same on both sides of the equation – thus E (energy) will equal v (frequency) with no need for a “constant” between them.

I may, of course, be wrong

I think what the equation shows is the proportionality between E and f, as having h as the k. Frequency is frequency, energy is engery, frequency is a measure of mechanical engery.
