You either retain continuity of consciousness after you die or you don’t.
If you don’t, then none of this really matters
If you do, then, assuming there is choice around laws, this really matters.
So you should act as if number 2 is true, even if it’s not, because it’s impact is infinite.
That’s the basis of morality right there (that there might be causal laws of which we can choose that have effects stretching out forever)
So the problem is harm reduction and joy increases.
The problem is put most succinctly like this:
No matter what you do, you will be harming other beings. Even simply being happy or sad or neutral harms other beings.
This understanding is the first step towards infinite awakening. The wager forces it.
The solution to this problem of always causing harm is to go to collective or cosmic consciousness and create your own universe exactly as you want it without any other sentient beings besides you, and as you grow, you can return to cosmic consciousness at anytime and perform the same super-task (infinite number of procedures in an instant) to enter a different universe of non sentient beings.
Building your own universe in this way is the only way to avoid the problem of harm and self expression.
The point here is that this is the basket that one should put all their eggs in.
The other baskets all end in either disaster or are irrelevant.
