By succumbing to the illusion, you fail to remove your blindfold. You see only one scope despite there being countless scopes, and thus you never go beyond yourself. Your blind and unquestioned cooperation to your scope fabricates your very belief in the self, and your believing in the very existence of self is your greatest demise. It is man’s greatest demise, his worst folly. In man’s arrogant belief of the self, a deep seed is rooted. It is the seed which sprouts every deformed view he holds. It has sprouted war, it has sprouted hierarchy. It has sprouted indifference, it has sprouted sadism. It has sprouted poverty, it has sprouted shame. In mankind’s most diabolical creation exists his most diabolical lusts. And he never discerns the toxicity of his obsession. But still he waters his seed; still he nurtures his false steps in reaching truth, and drools at the mouth while doing so. “‘EGO’, SAYS YOU, AND ARE PROUD OF THAT WORD.” And you should be ashamed of it. It is man’s ego that binds him to his own suffering. In man’s suffering is nothing more than his failures. His failure at truth-- he believes in him-self, and therefore believes that his way is the true way, despite its immediate misshapen genesis. His failure at empathy-- where he sees “you”, he fails to see himself, and thus his actions are interlaced with selfishness. His social failure-- his ego has sprouted his “social image”, his most passionate addiction. Here he suffers from insecurity, inauthenticity, and his life of living for “others.” It is time that you stand up against the beast you’ve created, and thereby willingly plunge yourself into the abyss of uncertainty. It is here that children become men. Cut your chains. Unbuckle yourself from the shackles of your high-chair. And though it may sound easy at first, do not underestimate the beast. As you fall into the abyss, he will first blare sounds of sirens, wooing you, tempting you. The further you fall, the more hostile his voice will become. Then he will threaten your irrational subconscious with fears of lonesomeness, regret, and self-contempt. And your worst fears will shift the flow of your energy. But he lies. Your subconscious then becomes a gauntlet, and it is here that many succumb to him. Do not succumb to him. Be brave enough to call him coward. Be brave enough to laugh at him. Laugh at him for the redundancy and meaninglessness that he is. Say: “I am perceiver, nothing more.” Then, and only then, his presence will fade into the nothingness.
