My opinion? Ideal outcome is Ukraine surrenders and gives up a chunk of its territory to Russia. Ukraine being fully conquered by Russia is not ideal because then Russia would be directly connected to Europe’s border. Ukraine is a buffer between Europe and Russia.

Mr. Authoritarian, if there is a conspiracy like you claimed, then obviously it is Putin at the center and helm of this conspiracy, it is he who started this war to begin with.
Turning territory over to Putin would be the easiest way to do it, and it wouldn’t even be this great historical betrayal of sovereignty because the youkranians are just like the goddamn russians anyway and always were.
Putin would just integrate the youkrainians in the region that gets annexed and put em through a rerussianfication process involving very few, if any, major changes in culture. Maybe a different brand of yankee blue jeans, yah?.. or those padded down jackets they all wear now.
Once you understand that they really want a much wider war with Russia everything else makes sense. Just one provocation after the other until they get it.
