Evangelium

The way religion was passed down before it: tradition.

I’m having a hard time writing more. Maybe a book some day.

So you wanna talk about the fidelity / reliability of information being passed down (chain of custody) through tradition?

Are you trying to make me make an argument for things like passing down what we’ve learned from implementing the scientific method—and which tradition that came from?

You’re a funny guy in retrograde. I’ll wait ‘til it passes.

I have a better idea. I want you to do a video explaining the differences/similarities between Galileo, Lorentz, and Minkowski transformations or space-time diagrams—while at the same time explaining real/apparent retrograde (or otherwise: prograde/apparent or real moving-with, anterograde/apparent or real passing up) motion in both space and time. Do it honestly, Pezer. The world deserves the truth.

You know, I really might.

Tradition is not equivalent to scripture. It is not a monolithic story.

It is a collection of impressions, ideas and plots, and even experiences, ceremonies, contact with God, that gets whittled down through hundreds of thousands of years to a mercilessly precise point.

It gets transmitted in subtle and indirect ways as much as direct ones. It’s part of the air you breathe. It exists behind the behind, a shared secret that is not secret.

It is the way God chisels into man.

More than anything, that is my beef with the Evangelium.

The contention to wipe away God’s work with some fucking human’s flimsy momentary idea.

You work in Customer Service, don’t you? Politics?

Wow, that was poetic. It’s almost like you can’t contain the infinite in one moment so you just have infinite moments all doing something different about the same thing.

When a younger generation speaks with an older generation, they should think of each other as traveling in time to each other — the older travels in time to the younger generation and the younger travels in time to the older generation. Cross-generational relations are really about sci-non-fi time travel.

I deliver tools to gardeners and construction sites.

I just now was puttimg a shed together with the fellows using old wood and rusted nails, so’s we can park our motorcycles. It will have a sheet metal roof.

I’m a full time redneck.

Yup.

Finding texture in the infinite.

This is a little part of the infinite I like to call… Nom:

I’m eating a little part of the infinite right now.

1000 pts.

I did a big pot of rice with chicken and asparagus and green onions and carrot and green pepper and shallots.

This was before:

God is here.

I have to ask…

Were they unpretentious shallots?

No. They were pretentious. You have to chop them.

But I’m a redneck so I didn’t chop them.

I just cut them in half and threw them into the rice.

I’m just slobbering thinking about shallots in a stew.

All good rice making is is making a stew and absorbing it into the rice.

I’m beginning to wonder if I’m talking to a human being. Only an alien would think pretentious means “some dis-assembly required” and stew means mostly-water soup.

Strange conversations in a thread with the heading “Evangelium”.

Strange haha, or strange funny?
