It’s ironic that a 1-4 year old boy could single handedly find and think to bring food back to a remote pack of animals…
That boy woulda been pretty smart under ordinary scenarios…

Humm I wonder about that. I think the human intellect may be more suited to survival in those sort of conditions than it is for the construct we have built.
I suppose some baser instinct could kick in…
but I dunno… I could see if the child was abandoned at 3 or something, and found at 4… but a 1 year old, carrying food?
“Failure to Thrill Syndrome”
That’s the truest mistake that I ever made!
Shyster,
Just to clarify, I was indicating that I wonder about SOME types of autism as a result the information in that show, my knowledge of child abuse, and the historical aspect of autism. So, I have always wondered is at least in some cases child abuse, of a rather strange form, is the cause.
I also mentioned that it may have multiple cause. Anyway, if you think about the reports of people like Brooke Shields and her reaction to having a child, then I don’t find it hard to believe that some people might resentfully not talk to their kids, as babies.
It’s hard to tell.
OG,
He was found at four but never mentioned just when he was left. They alluded to it being for a while, but never gave any details of where he got the food. Perhaps he lived with his mother who was never there for lengths of time - because where else whould he have gotten the food.? They made it seem like the dogs lived in the empty apartment with him though. I wish they had given more detail.
There are several cases that you might be able to read about online.
