Fight Me: objective truth about subjects

Peace/shalom isn’t a visceral highness/euphoria, it’s wholeness of the great making qualities, which you know whether or not your body does. In fact… if your body is in a state of shock, but your focal point is self=other… you know overcoming/transcending in a way you wouldn’t if you …

That ain’t no upgrade.

just sounds like masochistic worship of the status quo. Worshipping suffering because you happen to exist. All primitive sounding.

Its very similar to the Flood in Halo who just spread the misery because of some genetic impulses to.

I don’t play Halo. Reference lost on me.

I also don’t worship suffering.

If you don’t like the status quo… what is it that is causing it? Being high all the time ain’t gonna make you like it.

Sure you do. You said suffering is good and helps us grow as people.

Words are not as effective as pictures, but Flood are basically an alien race that is always miserable but tries to spread to the galaxy and turn every species into a Flood that is miserable. Sort of like Zombies but much more intelligent, Zombies are like animals incapable of morality.

You are obviously not as bad as a Flood, but there are some similarities to worshipping of suffering and saying humans should not be altered, because thats the genetics we were randomly born with. Not as bad as Flood, but its still basically saying that humans should be denied bliss and paradise “just because” or status quo.

Then you worship pain.

Being high all the time is not bliss & paradise.

Bliss & paradise requires being fully present.

“Just because” is not in the Bible.

Answer me, please.

What drugs have you done?

Marijuana makes people more lucid, more in the “now” and in the present.

The problem is human brains cannot be high all the time, their brains get burnt out from it.

Human brains. Men. Men always do wars and conflicts and capitalism.

Marihuana is the Jesus drug causing pacifism and peace. But marihuana wont cause world peace. Because human brains, of any gender, cannot be high all the time, they get burnt out. Same reason Christianity could never save Europe from war, for 2000 years they’ve had nothing but wars in Europe.

They’ve had more than war. Calm down.

i literally just said they do more than war, but also conflicts and capitalism.

You meant them synonymously.

No i did not. If it was supposed to be synonymous then i wouldnt have bothered mentioning it

You have just shot yourself in the foot.
Think about it!

And whilst you convince yourself that morality is all about minimising suffering you might want to consider the moral systems which reject such utilitarianism; and other systems which posit suffering as a veritable positive.

Here is your hint that your view of morality is ideosyncratic.

It does not make them right though.
They may well me more open to other ideas; but your mind can be so open that your brains fall out.

And before you ask, here’s my alphbetical list of drugs I hve taken .

  • Acid
  • Alcohol
  • Cannabis oil
  • Cocaine
  • Crack
  • Ephedrine hydrochloride
  • Hashish
  • Morphine
  • Nicotine
  • Prescription opioids
  • Psyilisibin mushrooms
  • Skunk
  • Speed (various)
  • Valium

i never said all moral systems were good or absolute. Just that there is an absolute moral system.

Same thing as when people in the past did “science” they believed the earth was flat or the sun revolved around earth. There was an absolute truth but they were missing it, their understanding of science was poor. Just as many people’s understanding of morality and ethics

No what you said was worse. You said that morality was objective.

Er. NO.
Flat earthers was never the result of science.
And morality is not like physics.

Do you expect me to beleive that you and only you now have the “RIGHT” and obejctive moral system?? How funny

Take it up with Socrates.

Ancient Greeks did try to do science. Ancient Greeks were a scientific society

Laughable or Flawed Ancient Greek Science Beliefs

1. Geocentrism (Earth-Centered Universe)

  • Belief: The Earth was the immovable center of the universe, and all celestial bodies (Sun, Moon, planets, stars) revolved around it in perfect circles.
  • Who: Most famously promoted by Aristotle and later systematized by Claudius Ptolemy (though he was Roman-Egyptian, his ideas built on Greek thought).
  • Why it’s laughable: We now know the Earth orbits the Sun (heliocentrism), and the universe is vastly larger and more complex.

2. Flat Earth (Early Greek Period)

  • Belief: Some early Greek philosophers (like Homer’s era and Thales) thought the Earth was a flat disc floating on water.
  • Who: Thales of Miletus (6th century BCE) and some pre-Socratic thinkers.
  • Why it’s laughable: By the time of Aristotle, most educated Greeks accepted a spherical Earth, but the flat Earth idea persisted in some circles.

3. Four Elements Theory

  • Belief: Everything in the world was made up of four elements—earth, water, air, and fire.
  • Who: Empedocles, Aristotle.
  • Why it’s laughable: Modern chemistry shows matter is made of atoms and molecules, not just four basic elements.

4. Spontaneous Generation

  • Belief: Living creatures could arise from non-living matter, like mice from dirty hay or maggots from rotting meat.
  • Who: Aristotle and others.
  • Why it’s laughable: Disproven by experiments (e.g., Pasteur), we now know life comes from existing life.

5. Humorism (Four Humors)

  • Belief: Human health and temperament were determined by the balance of four bodily fluids: blood, phlegm, yellow bile, and black bile.
  • Who: Hippocrates, Galen (later Roman, but built on Greek ideas).
  • Why it’s laughable: Modern medicine has no basis for this; disease is caused by pathogens, genetics, etc.

6. Extramission Theory of Vision

  • Belief: The eyes emit rays or beams that touch objects, allowing us to see them.
  • Who: Euclid, Plato.
  • Why it’s laughable: We now know vision works by light entering the eye, not by the eye sending out rays.

This is further undermining your own position.

You have no need to lecture me on Aristotle.
I’ve got a BA in Ancient History and Archaeology and a Masters in Intellectual History.
I also studied for Bsc in science in my early years.

When such claims as were made by science in the past they were derived with the claimed “objective” method.
Now, take some time.. And think your claim about moral objectivity.

I know you are not stupid.

PS… BTW Socrates did not do science. Posting shit from Chat GPT is not knowledge, its just you posting stuff that you do not understand
