Finding the Key

In the corridors of youth, my bliss was cast,
Dreams painted on the canvas of a world so vast.
But illusions crumbled, like leaves in the fall,
Reality whispered, breaking through the wall.

Oh, the line 'tween good and evil, it’s a winding stream,
Through every heart, a complex, shifting dream.
Nobody’s without fault, though they wear a disguise,
In this tangled dance, truth never lies.

I’ve seen the shadows dance in the lantern’s glow,
The truth we seek, in each heart does grow.
No saint, no sinner, just souls on this ride,
Struggling through the ebb and flow of the tide.

Oh, the line 'tween good and evil, a path we all tread,
In every story told, a thread of truth is spread.
No one’s free from sin, no matter how they strive,
In this human tapestry, we all survive.

The masks we wear, the secrets we keep,
In the silence of night, where our shadows seep.
But deep in our core, a flicker of light,
A beacon of truth in the endless night.

We strive for perfection, in a flawed ballet,
But nobody’s flawless, in the light of day.
Appearances deceive, like a silent plea,
For understanding in this grand mystery.

Oh, the line 'tween good and evil, like a winding road,
In each soul’s journey, a heavy load.
Faults and frailties, we all carry the weight,
In the dance of redemption, we find our fate.

So, I walk this road where the truth unfurls,
No longer throwing to the swine wisdom’s pearls.
The illusions have faded, and I stand free,
In the confusion of life, we must all find our key.
