Foreign Investments.

Let’s say you had a stockpile of money to invest in businesses overseas in foreign countries, what would you invest in?

So far where I am moving to I was thinking about investing my money in apartments, food markets, stores, clubs, bars and restaraunts.

( I might invest in tourism too, possibly.)

Dude, you just now got a job…and you are talking about investing in real estate?

You might be able to buy rock somewhere in the desert by the time you are sixty, if you’re lucky. Forget about property. It ain’t happenin.

Is selling a house in 2 years… Estimated worth $50,000.00

( Inheritance sort of thing.)

Take that money and go to college. If you really want to beat the system, you’ve gotta have the credentials to get in the game.

I don’t want to be in the game. Not to mention I am not college material in that there are certain areas I deeply lack in.

Besides moving out of the country in owning my own business sounds more appealing.

When I was in 12th grade, right before they kicked me out of school, the principal told me that I wasn’t college material and that I should go and learn a trade. That guy is now superintendent of all the schools in the county. I went to college on money that I won in a lawsuit against a woman who hit me with a truck. Now I’m like all buddy buddy with a bunch of people who can really help me to get money and have a job that’s easy and doesn’t hurt my back.

I went to a medical school for awhile and had to drop out because of my poor sentencing and because of my terrible understanding of mathmatics.

( If you don’t know mathmatics in a industrial society too well you might as well consider yourself royally screwed.)

Smears, I am not in this situation because I haven’t tried hard enough. I am in my situation because of circumstance.

When I went to school I studied math everyday when school let out for three hours in a four year period and still I couldn’t grasp mathmatics throughout my after school studying. Add on that when I was younger I was put in a juvenile school for three years where I was kicked out of public schooling for awhile which seriously damaged my education in more ways then one which ironically at the same time the county school board called this juvenile setting a big help in the community where I grew up in.

I was lucky enough just to graduate highschool in all the muck that I have been through, Smears.

Unlike many people here I didn’t come from your typical happy place growing up filled with cheer.

Dude the only reason I’m still in college now is because I have to take a core math class. I remember when I was so little that my mom had to carry me when we went to wait in line for cheese and peanut butter. I’ve been to jail three times. Circumstances can be a bitch, but you gotta find a way to be at peace with the world by knowing that you can get what you want. I dunno man. 50 grand isn’t that much these days. Rather than leave the country, you might consider moving to Alabama. It’s like a different world here. Intolerance is the hallmark of the south. You might just like it.

$50,000.00 grand isn’t much in this country, but where I am going out of country $50,000.00 is x 6.

You should go to Belize. I know a guy who has a house there that he lives in 3 months out of every year. There’s no running water or electricity. He loves that shit, and I think it’s cheap as hell.

I’ll check into it.

Meanwhile, being that this thread is mainly about foreign investments, what would you invest in?

Terrorism. It seems like it’s a growing industry, and apparently the terrorists themselves are invincible.
