What free e-mail system do you like best (i.e. Yahoo!, or Hotmail, etc.)?

Hey guys:

What free e-mail system do you like best (i.e. Yahoo!, or Hotmail, etc.)?

I’ve currently been looking for a back-up email system in case my old computer crashes and I cannot access outlook anymore.

I checked-out both hotmail & yahoo, but all the good IDs’ had been taken up already. The closest thing to what I wanted was something I know I’d never be able to remember (like, “The_Philosopher1_5673@yahoo.com”).

Any suggestions? Thanks!:wink:

i have three accounts at the moment - a hotmail one which i use for anything that will send me junk mail if i sign up (like online shopping/newletters etc) my uni address for work, and a fastmail.fm address for personal, wihch i really like, although you have to explain the .fm bit to people whenever you give them your address. i’ve also got a ‘fuckhotmail’ which forwards to my hotmail account (!) and an @ilovephilosophy.com, because all the cool kids have one of those.

I actually have like (literaly) a dozen different accounts on @frostcloud.com. So few people know about frostcloud-email (It’s got as many features & cool stuff as Yahoo), that I was able to get the address IDs the way I wanted them. I’ve got all of the cool ones.

In addition, I also have @philosophyforums.com, as well.

But I’m still intent on finding another free e-mail service.:wink:

It’s really nothing more than a mail-fowarding system----besides, it was only avalible to those who contributed financially. Check this out:

I’m not sure what hotmail is like, but yahoo has waaaaaaaaaay too many ads all over it.:wink:

I use to have a Smooth@jediacademy.com, before they changed the site.

Yeah, I first heard about yesterday morning on CNN, but when I went to Google.com, I could find no such thing.

isn’t that the one where google sell information about you to advertisers?
