Free Will... Again

I am not a nihilist, I believe in good and bad absolutes.

If someone had a perfect brain and body then there is no reason to escape it, or transform it.

My opinion is that most people are victims of biology. If there is some lucky person who is positive 99% or more of the time, I see no reason for them to transform. Other than a transformation towards immortality, cause what if they die and then reincarnate as a miserable person.

However there must be universal suffrage because the alternative makes ethical problems. Restricted suffrage has been done and found to be both unfair and inefficient. Child education for all was initiated in order to make the electorate more politically knowledgeable.

Child education today is insufficient for an educated electorate as long as some children don’t access to good teaching, decent school premises, a home with quiet space to do their homework, and outdoor recreation,

There you go…you are a nihilist. There are no absolutes….and if there were existence would cease.

No singularities…no indivisible, immutable things.

There you go…this is why you are a nihilist.

You want to ‘correct nature’s injustices’….and you can only use mental constructs…..represented by words, existing nowhere but in the minds of your collective…collective of victims.

Tyranny of the majority is another ethical problem…

I have found no solution for perfect government so far. Every form of government has problems.

My point is that for democracy to be as good as it can be the electorate has to be educated as well as possible, and the cost met by taxation.

And yet modern education seems to be the instigator of all modern economic classism.

If public schools were completely honest with their students they would tell them a lifetime of wage slavery, poverty, and debt bondage awaits them if they don’t meet the held standards of mental acuity.

“If you don’t meet our standards and qualifications of education students, a lifetime of slavery awaits you all! Get back to work, or else!”

Instead they sell the lie that little Billy and Susie can be whatever they want to be when they grow up which is a giant falsification told to all children.

@Kallikantzaros

And that’s why our elites love the education super complex institutions, because it only rewards the most obedient, dutiful, and unquestioning of mental slaves who are the most conformist. It rewards those who have no values of their own.

It is also an institution that punishes rebels, free thinkers, and independent minded people. By intentional design of course, and within the United States all education is purposefully made very expensive so that the poor have no economic social mobility or way of escaping their accursed fate thrown onto them. Again, a system that only rewards mindless obedience.

edumacation seems to be, spamming people with random crap, and not nurturing them, forcing them to learn subjects they aren’t skilled at nor interested in, and forcing them to sit in hard chairs causing spinal problems and mental illness.

real genius:

the edumacation system did not serve him well.

the edumacation system was invented as a daycare system for children and teens, so that they wouldn’t be deliquent little rascals making trouble in neighborhoods. Now that we have videogames and VR, its not as essential.

It was essential after Feminists demanded women enter the workforce, which was a ploy so that Capitalists can lower wages by half. Then no parents at home watching kids. Then the edumacation system is required.

Okay then …what is spirit?

What do you believe most of a person’s Will is based on, if not Needs???

If a person or animal is starving, then where and on what is their mind focused?

What is their Will directed toward?

Tyranny of the majority is indeed the foremost problem of universal suffrage. The most effective way to ameliorate that problem is top quality education of the electorate , especially children at school who are society’s future.

the edumacation system causes mental illness, as evidence as all the kids diagnosed with ADHD, bipolar, and all the mass murdering, stabbings, shootings and bullying that occurs all across American schools.

If the edumacation system could not learn from the tragedy of Ramanujan, then there is no hope, and it will all have to be replaced by AI.

The tragedy of Ramanujan, was folly of the education system, the old methods of forcing students to learn a bunch of random crap, as if humans are a Tabula Rasa, as if disbelief in genetic potential. The modern idea all humans are genetic equals, Tabula Rasa.

Temporal dynamics my friend, temporal dynamics…

A man’s will is usually active, temporally coherent, present… This does not mean that a man is his will… there are times when a man’s will is not present…

Are you ever a passenger in a car, or are you always a driver?

@Belinda

No response back I see. So much for your worldview of education being the be all answer to everything.

Listen, you guys can choose from phantom fears and kindness that can kill. Me? Im’a choose a path that’s clear, Im’a choose freewill.

No no… think about what you’re saying here.

The Will is always present. Your SELF-AWARENESS however, is not. Humans turn off and on the “Self-Awareness / Self-Conscious” third-person aspect as an evolved mental trait. It is NOT always on. In fact, for most “humans”, it’s never on. Not all humans have it.

Great song :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

No the will is not always on. The will is summoned when needed. If you’re will is always on it means you are hyper-vigilant, paranoid or hyper-masculine. You did not ever answer the question if you are ever a passenger in a car.

Now onto the self-awareness thing, you are at least correct about this. You are your first person perspective, not your self. Most animals have a first-person consciousness. Now if you know about technology then you know that a “third-person videogame” uses the same camera as a first person game. So when you play a third person videogame you are still looking it through the lens of a first person camera. Everything is in a first person perspective. The only exception would be some kind of Abrahamic supergod that has some kind of magical omniscience camera.
