On the matter of Compartmentalization, that was one that really demonstrated proof to me, that the masses act as-if they had Free-Will, while denying it whenever and wherever convenient. It’s selective, based on emotional whim. The masses do not adhere to Logic or Rationality, which is also why they (pretty much always in the end) leave it to “Trust the Experts”. By “Experts” of course, they mean their political-party’s hand-selected Propagandists and “Scientists”. Or more commonly, it’s up to the Law, the Judge, the Jury, to decide when or not people are hypothetically responsible for their actions.

Compartmentalization is Convenience. Free-Will exists whenever I do something good and am rewarded by greater Society, upward mobility, receiving accolades, fame, popularity, wealth, etc. – but it no longer exists whenever I do something bad, make a mistake, go drunk driving and plow my truck into a small sedan full of kids and their mother… or when I masturbate in public. So when life and experience is Negative, everything is Predetermined. But when life and experience is Positive, then I “freely chose” my way to my rewards and benefits.

In other words, Free-Will exists when I must or need to take responsibility for my rewards. I want “what’s mine”. I own my property, my mansion, my garage full of sports cars. I earned my rewards. Without Free-Will, I could not possibly take responsible or ownership of anything. How could I, how could anybody? “Ownership” would be yet another delusion, illusion, tool of manipulation. People would not be able to believe in Ownership, without Free-Will.

Compartmentalization is self-induced schizophrenia.
It allows the common man to apply different standards in different context… creating the sensation that someone else is in control.

They deny ‘self’ because they have not unified all the parts of themselves, maintaining them separate, so that they can always identify with innocence.
Bicameral Mind.
The delusion of spirits or god speaking to them, is a manifestation of this internal divide. Dissonance.
They can believe in an ethical system, in one context, and then behave contrary to it, in another.
This is especially true if a mind is infected by a nihilistic dogma or ideology.

Identity is not a singularity, either.
All that exists is a multiplicity.

All life has free-will, determined by its power.

All life participates in what is being determined, and with every judgment and choice - willful act - increases or decreases the probabilities of attaining its objectives.

But man’s powers are infinitesimal when compared to the vastness of existence and the multitudes of competing wills, all participating in what will be determined.

Accepting the inevitable is accepting the limits of your own powers.

As such, (1) collectives multiply the free-will of its participants by organizing and directing them.
(2) gods represent the collective wills of their followers.
(3) the personal benefits of a lie outweigh the costs of truth.
(4) in the short life of a man survival, at all costs, is his primary objective, determining the definition of words.
(5) persistence is another way a man’s feeble will can increase its impact on what is being determined. Repetition is a multiplier.
(6) slave morality, herd psychology, has already indoctrinated the psyche of the average westerner, through wherever nihilistic dogmas, like the Abrahamic triad and Buddhism, were popular for thousands of years.
(7) path-of-least-resistance remains tempting to men who experience resistance as stress and suffering, i.e., agon.
(8) individual constitution determines the amount of truth a man can endure, and the length of time he can endure it.

Innocence, meaning Irresponsibility, is a critical cornerstone of Abrahamism and most Humanity. If one social Class can inflict harm on others, but themselves not receive harm, maintaining their innocence, then that is viewed as the socially ‘Elite’ class. This is something the Liberal-Leftist-Marxist side has obsessed about, with its political maneuvering. It offers protections for its willing, zealous members. The Right on the other hand, Abrahamism, has its own (original) version of Innocence: being “Chosen” by God. Christians, Jews, and Moslems then all fight and vie for ‘being Chosen by God’. Abrahamism act as-if children were squabbling for attention and favoritism from an Eternal Father. This creates a common psychological disposition among all Abrahamics – “if I can appeal to God well enough, then all my secret wish and desires will be fulfilled.” It’s a very powerful and motivational ideology. The Secular (per)version appears as (Pre)Determinism. Determinism offers Leftism a way to appeal to the same notion of an Absolute, Totalitarian, Cosmic Order, that all Irresponsibility of a lifetime can be instantly relieved / forgiven / absolved / baptized away. And that is also too powerful a temptation for the Secular Leftists to ignore.

They gladly imbibe in that Big Lie, “For Science” and “Trust the Experts”.

Free-Will very much, or totally, revolves around Choice.

Whether people are ever Conscious about these choices, before, during, or after they’re made, is another, very important and powerful question. No matter how simply I try to break down the matter of Free-Will to the Determinists, they always seem to blot out their own ‘individual’ choice-making, decision-making capability. For example, I like to use the predator-prey chase dynamic in Nature. Whether a wolf chasing a deer, leopard chasing a gazelle, shark chasing a fish, etc. both the predator and prey have Choices to make: left, right, forward, back, up, down, the basics. Sometimes the predator chooses wrongly and loses the chase, going hungry. Sometimes the prey chooses wrongly, gets caught and killed. In Nature, “Choice” is very simple. It is Natural Selection. The ‘Good’ Choices mean survival.

Determinists ignore this and instead go to minimal, “small” human choices. They tend to ignore the big, do-or-die choice examples, because that’s very difficult to argue against, and ignore the cognitive faculty of even simple mammals making basic choices. So, instead, Determinists focus on ‘hypothetical’ human choices, yet to be made, yet to be determined. Hard Determinists (Pre-determinists) go the full length and claim that “all conscious choices are decided beforehand”. By what? By whom? They cannot go into the details …or Peacegirl’s grift, that Choices are only delusional “after the fact” occurrences. You can never choose “beforehand”, apparently.

But Determinists all fail when it comes to the Unknown. If a wolf is chasing a deer up a hill and toward the crest… the deer comes to the crest and finds that it is very, very steep. Now the deer is stuck. Does it choose to go forward over the edge, or try to turn around and dodge the wolf? How would such a choice or decision be “Pre-determined” if both the wolf and deer do not know what is over the crest? It could have been a smooth decline. But alas, it is a steep cliff. Pre-determinism here claims that “the choice was already made” before the deer knew, but how? How do Determinists have this crystal ball, to know in advance, all conditions of the Universe, and all Possibilities beforehand… or thereafter? They do not answer these questions. Because they’re not fully invested in seeing through their own Logic.

That would make them look ridiculous.

If we adopted their bad faith methods, and applied it to the concept of life… then we could define life in such a way that it would make it impossible for it to exist.
Then we can dismiss our experience of life as …“illusory.”
Where there’s a will, there’s a way…and the way for modern/postmodern nihilists is linguistic.

The Platonic treatment…idealizing a concept to make it the antithesis of what is experienced as life.
So…life is immortal and perfect, or it cannot be called life.
This definition we can promote and make it conventional…popular.
All that does not meet this criterion is an “illusion”… false life.

We are all equally dead, but are convinced, by a tritckster…a satanic ruse, into believing that we live…just as these imbeciles are convinced they’ve been fooled into believing that they don’t have free-will.
The illusion is inverted. an Illusion produced by semiotics…a magician’s toolkit.

The idea of already being dead has two important implications.
First it equalizes what is not equal.
We are all the same…we are all not-living.
Second, it alleviates the anxiety concerning death.
We are already dead, so how bad can death be?

That’s Spinoza’s excuse for dismissing free-will.
It alleviates fear.
If all is determined, there is no anxiety concerning our individual choices.

The scapegoat is affirmed, without a god or a saviour.
What happens was always meant to happen.

Indeed, if Death is Nature’s true ‘bad choice’, then Human Determinism, Abrahamism, general denial of Free-Will, are all aimed (ideologically at least) to alleviate that Fear, indirectly if not directly.

These Determinists do this especially with the ‘small’ choices, which have to be illusions/delusions, because they can’t allow any amount of “Free-Will” to pop their idealistic bubble.

If even small choices can lead to an untimely death, in Humans, in the Mind of any and ever individual, then they’ve got a big problem.
