This is what we do. We put labels on people. Israeli, Palestinian, Hamas. Some we exalt. Others we dehumanize. Pseudospeciation Ericksen called it. Then we can kill them without feeling like a murderer.

Hamas is the aggressor. If they stopped aggressing, it would not trigger defensive action. Israel has always provided for a space for coexistence until they are attacked—Hamas does not allow that space.
There comes a point when allowing patterns of aggression to continue is a failure to responsibly protect those in your sphere of influence. Hamas was not formed in a vacuum. Your simplistic, biased assessment ignores the conditions of apartheid the Palestinians have existed under for 76 years. Thinking like you have exhibited on this thread, will help perpetuate the cycle of hatred and violence whenever and wherever it occurs. At the very least, you’re ignoring equally pernicious aggression on the Israeli side. “Self=other” remember?
What about the war crimes committed in the name of the USA? Are you as rabid about getting those prosecuted? I’m guessing that you’re not. What good is your self=other? It’s kinda like David Berns’ “same as it ever was.”

Apparently some are infiltrating the peaceful protests to subvert the anti-violence message to one of hate. And some authorities are using that as a pretext for shutting the protests down.
