My theory . . .
The issue of global warming is for humanitarians, not ecologists.
If you are concerned about human survival, global warming is going to be an issue for you. Many people will deal with a virtual water world (no, not necessarily all land submerged) and will not have the technology to survive it.
On the other hand- nature will prosper because of a richer, watery, more tropical climate. Granted, the trees will drown and stop producing a lot of oxygen. In theory, planckton and other sources will take over. Particularly, nature will likely prosper because human population will decrease dramatically. Oil will have been almost all spent, and pollutions from more archaic energy sources will probably dwindle.
No doubt, corporations are almost embracing the coming cataclysms with minimal concern for the future. But I wonder what group should be really feeling at arms for them. Nature lovers might be doing someone else’s job.
