Go Steelers!!!!

Our father, who art in Pittsburgh,
Football be thy name.
Thy Kingdom come, 4 Super Bowls won,
On earth as it is in Heinz Field.
Give us this day an AFC victory,
And forgive us our penalties,
As we defeat those who play against us.
And lead us into a victory and
Deliver us to Denver
So we can kick their Ass.
Amen

GO STEELERS!!!

K: not that I have a rooting interest in this, I don’t, but
just to be difficult, Go Bronco’s

So there. That’s as close to anarchism as I get these days.

Kropotkin

Spent the first 10 years of my life in the 'Burgh, Bess.

I’ll be watching.

GO STEELERS.

Your from USA?
Around here people don’t give a damn about football…

I’m imagining that’s why Bess chose Mundane Babble, Dan. And those with no interest could simply ignore the topic entirely…

=D>

The Steelers vs the Seahawks should be a good matchup. They both have great running games and good defenses. And they both have young QBs. I’m looking forward to the SuperBowl.

Me too!!! Nothing beats last week’s game, but tonight was pretty sweet.

it’s going to be seattle 27, pittsburg 10

To dream the impossible dream,
To fight the unbeatable foe,
To bear with unbearable sorrow,
To run where the brave dare not go.

To right the unrightable wrong,
To love pure and chaste from afar,
To try when your arms are too weary,
To reach the unreachable star.

This is my quest,
To follow that star –
No matter how hopeless,
No matter how far.

To fight for the right
Without question or pause,
To be willing to march
Into hell for a heavenly cause.

And I know if I’ll only be true
To this glorious quest
That my heart will be peaceful and calm
when I’m laid to my rest.

And the world will be better for this,
that one man scorned and covered with scars
still strove with his last ounce of courage.
To reach the unreachable star.

To dream the impossible dream
To fight the unbeatable foe
To bear with unbearable sorrow
To run where the brave dare not go.

To right the unrightable wrong
To be better far than you are
To try when your arms are too weary
To reach the unreachable star.

This is my quest, to follow that star,
No matter how hopeless, no matter how far
To be willing to give when there’s no more to give
To be willing to die so that honor and justice may live

And I know if I’ll only be true to this glorious quest
That my heart will lie peaceful and calm when I’m laid to my rest

And the world will be better for this
That one man scorned and covered with scars
Still strove with his last ounce of courage
To reach the unreachable star.

(no contest IMP)

I should put that in Symposia as my own.

=D> =D> =D> =D>

the officiating was rigged…

#1 rothesburgers rushing “touchdown” was a horrible call… the ball never crossed the plane.

#2 the seattle touchdown that was denied because of “offensive interference” was questionable at best…

seattle played the better game.

pittsburg had the benefit of biased referees.

Hello F(r)iends,

Steelers won and thoroughly thrashed the Seahawks.
The Seahawks couldn’t make it happened.
The Steelers only failed to make it happen once.

-Thirst

they got robbed. the officials made 3 bad calls against seattle and 0 against the steelers. im nuetral i dont care either way but i think they got robbed.

If you look back at any football season there are always bizarre calls for and against any team. Saying the refs were biased is nuts - they called them like they saw them. It is always a shame when “questionable” or close calls happen at a Super Bowl, which make the win feel less than sweet.

Then again, that $500 in my hand feels pretty good this morning.

Jerome - what a bulldozer!

I am glad you won your bet, but the steelers only “won” because the refs called it horribly…

-Imp

Imp… I’m shocked :astonished:

When did you ever care about fairness or justice?

PS Good on ya, Bess =D> =D> =D>

Let’s just all admit that it was a poorly played game by everybody…the Steelers, Seahawks, and the officials.

Not exactly a game for the ages.

LOL

only when the players of the game agree to play by the same rules…
