A. God randomly steps out from behind a tree without warning just for this occasion, has nothing important to say or do.
B. God gives advance warnings, make sure it’s recorded for anybody that missed it, does what he says he’s gonna do, makes sure that’s recorded too, and when he shows up again (apart from the usual sustaining the entire universe gig) actually has something important to say and do that ain’t nobody missin this time.
