We love because they first love(s) us. This is not a quid pro quo. This is about origins. We’re not the origin… how solipsistic… how narcissistic… how anthropomorphic… how arrogant… to think the origin is incapable of or beyond loving us, and lowering our standard for what that means, so that we can remain oblivious as pigs in mud.
