Good feelings make you do bad things.

Lust and hedonism, a beautiful woman’s body, the bliss of orgasm causes you to rape.

The satisfaction of glory, the satisfaction of violence, causes you to kill.

The comfort and luxury of wealth causes you to steal.

Ease on your muscles causes you to waste, pollute, in cars.

Hedonistic satisfaction causes you to slaughter bovines in droves.

The specialness of comradery, the warmth of culture causes you to murder others overseas.

The catharsis of displacement causes you to bully.

Neutrality, numbness, absolute psychopathy, causes inaction. Absolute psychopathy only causes prosperity. Spock, vulcans, are absolute psychopathy, hyperrationality.

Psychopathic murders are not absolute psychopaths, because they gain thrill from murder. It is how they feel.

It is no wonder the christian dichotomy of heaven and hell, yin and yang. To increase the good, is to increase the bad. The universe maintains balance via the human organism. You cannot buy nike shoes without the sweat shops. You cannot fuck the whore without any cost.

This is why the human organism is flawed, because it is all too balanced. Humans are equal parts good and bad. This is their core nature. This is why a human cannot do drugs to give it pleasure, because the drugs will counter themselves and cause equal parts suffering. This is the human limit, the human is a flawed device. A human cannot experience good without falling into bad.

There can be no good without evil, no right without wrong, no creation without destruction, and no light without darkness.

It’s all rather interchangeable, necessary, symbiotic, and naturally occurring.

Of course one could go a step further looking at the hypocritical self righteousness with that which calls itself good peering into the grand delusion of it all and then ask, what is good?

Does good even exist?

Perhaps all the good-doers that call themselves good aren’t as good as they would like us all to believe.

Perhaps there is no separation or distinction existing whatsoever.

Upon further thought, I’d say humans are imbalanced, more bad than they are good.

For example, in the sweat shop example, the pleasure of obtaining a new toy only lasts for a few seconds, even though it took much labor to build.

All of that merely implies that it is temptation that “makes people do bad”. So is temptation good?

Temptation is based on a reward. Rape is a reward. Meat is a reward.

So all you have to do is make sure that no one ever gets any hope of reward and there will be no bad?

One can choose to view the bad actions as a positive thing (even if it is selfish, although selfless actions are easier to defend). Or maybe the action could be selfish and selfless at the same time.

Maybe you raped your wife because she was horny you both get off to it.

Maybe you killed for your own glory and to protect your family in an immediate crisis.

Maybe you stole because you lost your job and wanted to eat a decent meal and not die.

Maybe your waste was to ease your muscles and to give things to others. One man’s trash is another’s treasure.

You can choose to view it positively or negatively, your choice. I suggest trying to replace the negative thought with a positive thought, sometimes. Think in terms of positive possibilities your actions are causing - for me, its a decent way to immediately relieve anxiety after doing something potentially negative (or having someone do something negative to me).

I’m not suggesting to use this as an excuse to do harm - but as a way of learning to live with the reality in the OP

The right approach is to design the organism to appreciate all manner of things. This is why modernity fails.

A woman should instead of bickering and moaning, look on the bright side. After being raped, Her progeny will be strong, masculine, free, and virile. She should give thanks for her blessing, being raped in disguise.

The man who is murdered should give thanks, for his murderer alleviated him of all Earthly pains.

The animal who is slaughtered should give thanks, because his flesh gives rise to the progress of technological achievement.

This is why locking animals in cages is wrong, it is a cruel and unusual punishment that provides only misery, not justice. The proper justice is raping the rapist, calling the avenger to a duel with the murderer, if such an avenger is truly a man. The avenger will have Luck on his side and so, by losing the duel, he is embracing his Fate, to rest with his beloved, and by winning the duel it shows the divine truly needs to be Avenged. An avenger not willing to avenge is not worthy of justice.

This is why I am God, and man is no god. I am true justice.

That’s what there was thousands of years ago. With wisdom comes unity, not diversity.

I wonder if we were enlightened by someone about this or reminded of it, would it make a difference to us?
Would we sit in front of that toy, child’s or adults, and wonder about this even though it couldn’t change the reality of the one who made it.
Many of us don’t value much of anything.

Human beings have a natural propensity for destruction, conflict, and violence.

Call it whatever you will.

In the end there is no good. Good is a word to rationaliize our own ugliness and hypocrisies.
