When subjective thinkers, meet objective thinkers… boom! 
When someone says “I am the only person allowed to be funny” and they take offense when you are funnier than they are, it says something. It doesn’t necessarily say they don’t (or do) like you. It does say they want to keep control of the situation. And someone who wants to keep control of the situation is someone who feels threatened.
