The famous Karl Marx, the last stage of economic development is communism. or was it social lism?
I heard in the world of communism people don’t have to work and they can go accomplished their dreams quicker and be more happier , is it true.
We all know how it will come to be, destroying the rich people’s property and giving it to the poor.
But what will it be afterwards? how will it be govern?
If know that China and Russia are communist, but Karl Marx says the country must first be a capitalist world, then, it will truly be. Since both nations were not capitalist, they ignore the the teachings of Marx, and now they are suffering. I think.
What is your interpretation of the true communist world?
Well, the way marx had it, was everybody works.
No, one owns the means of production, which is to say,
a business is owned by everyone collectively,
we have this today with employees owned business.
Now what happens is, there is no boss getting the vast majority
of profit, the profit is collectivly shared between the workers.
If everyone work, then people would have time, in the afternoons,
to be free to do what they want. 5% of the U.S owns 95% of
the wealth. What if that 95% was actually shared between everyone.
Bill gates alone is worth 46 billion dollars and warren buffet is about
40 or so, so just between those two, you have 86 billion dollars.
If you limit everyone to about a billion dollars, (which is more then
anyone could possible spend in 30 lifetimes) then you could have
to send every single kid in the U.S. to collage and fund
medical insurance for every single person in the U.S.
and also have afternoons off. Sounds pretty good to me.
Wrong, people are still required to work under Communism, but education and technology under Communism are such that everyone is more than proficient at every job, and the output is so much greater than under Capitalism that work for the community is light. Under Communism one doesn’t have one job, but rather migrates from job to job never staying long enough to because a automaton.
Revolution begins with the Proletariat dictatorship, and ends after a few decades or a few generations(depending on who you read). What results is a collective whereby their is no state, and their is no real economy. All goods are stored at warehouses throughout the community in such abondance that anytime anyone wants anything they can go and get it. Crime doesn’t exist, class struggle doesn’t exist, and strife in general doesn’t exist, so their is no longer a need for a government. There is however a type of administrative body that allocates the materials to the warehouses, and tells people where to work and when. This administrative body however is ran by the community at large with the rotation of workers parrelleling other services.
Not sure about China, but Russia was Capitalistic prior to the the Bolshevik revolution, and continued to be Capitalism after and up to the Collapse of CCCP.
See: The Development of Capitalism in Russia by V.I.Lenin
Neither, it was anarchism. Marx told us that the state will wither away, though it wasn’t until Lenin that we got an explanation of how and why that would happen. Communism was always (and remains) a means to an end rather than an end in itself.
Marx used the terms socialism and Communism interchangeably Socialism is the intermediate stage between Capitalism and Communism. In the socialist stage the rich are heavily taxed and a general move is made to address the needs of the people.
Everyone would still have to work in a Communist society the workers would become more satisfied as their labour would not be stolen from them.
Society would not be governed as Communism is a stateless society rather the workers would organize themselves through ultra democratic workers councils.
Russia was a prime example of a feudal society turned state capitalist but not Communist. China could be considered semi socialist.
That would be nice, but we know the rich are not supremely moral men, therefore, with their intelligent minds they will avoid doing so, by given some money to the charity, so that that the common people will feel some generosity and sympathy, and say, hey these men are not that bad after all. Only the rich man who is supremely enlighten will do so.
nillistic~
I don’t believe this. What happens if foreign people attack? What will happens to their millitary force? Unless the world is to be communist not just one nation. Still, crime will exist.
someonesatthedoor
What is anarchism?
Therefore, I don’t believe in Communism, sounds good though.
IF marx was ruling and took part in poltics , it may be, or a supremely devoted and enlighen follower of Marx.
" You need someone who is high with wisdom and honesty, who can handled the task. ( stating the best possible choice is himself )", said Joseph to the Pharoh.
If communism is taking form in those recent victories. How long will order come to be, it still need to be govern by some sort of authority. Which nation has became a fully developed communism or anarchism?
Marx wrote and talk all about Communism, but he has not talk about how it will govern and rule the people.
Socialism is taking form quite well I cannot tell you how long before we see Communism but it wont be in my lifetime of that I am sure.
Communism doesnt rule the people its the other way around the people rule in Communism. Marx did not specify the time it would take for Communism to take form it could be hundreds of years before it happens.
Surely people will rule the nation. But the people will be limited, not the entire republic, right? Will this not be the mix constiutional gov’t or the people’s rule? From Aristotle 6 forms of governemt.
Unless communisim is different then the people’s rule.
The best ones are kinship, aristocracy, and people’s rule and the worst ones are tyranny, oligarcy, and democracy.
Generation X, of which I am a part of, can get the best idea of communism by imaging a world where everyone was a hippy, but was also intelligent, work oriented, and didn’t like John Lennon or Yoko Oh No.
These are essentially my prospects as I am an emergent property of the early nineties restablishment of the seventies culture through classical rock. I have the last lingering spirit of communism in my age and genealogy. I could live in a tent with a bunch of mexicans and be happy, as long as a few of them looked like Zeta Jones.
The generation we are in now can only imagine communism as a lazy group of hippies ruled by a ruthless dictator, but its all because of the semiotics of the fashion/music industry that you kids are listening to the wrong music and are made into psychotronic robots of hip-hop. Seriously, the music you listen to programs you to be stupid, shallow, and anti-communistic. You’re thinking that you cannot get any bling-bling in a communism, aren’t you? See? I knew it.
On the real though, communism is simple. Its the “doing it” that’s complicated. All the specs are in place but its never been tried. Well it has, but briefly, where it failed to mutate into true communism from socialism. Most attempts remained on a teetering balance of facism and socialism. Damn dirty russians. Spetzgrupas jacked on vodka and gregarious music.
And the weather. That’s why the russians are tough. Look where they evolved. Vodka warms the gullet while logging in the tundra.
Amazingly nice model of communism was suggested by Lenin in 1920’s. NEP, or New Economical Policy. In general It was not very far from capitalism in the US today: small business was privately owned, big business was under control of the government. If not Lenin’s death, which stopped the development of NEP, the world history would be very different.
Communism can never and will never “work†if mankind is not fundamentally altered – either through indoctrination or evolution or domestication – into a different kind of being.
Communism, just like Christianity, presupposes a “good†and selfless human being – a fallen angel -, when reality contradicts it; they both presuppose a human which is other than animal and so fail in creating their own idealized human which is “above†animal.
Capitalism will always win out over Communism in the same manner in which instinct will win out over reason - through attrition.
As long as individual need dictates reason’s boundaries, so will instinct limit any ideal which contradicts a natural ideal.
If you want a better form of Communism, you should check out “The Republic” by Plato. In essence it is the best form of government, yet reaching at the stage set by Plato’s society is almost impossible, unlike communism. Yet i believe that once in, it is almost foolproof. So basically it’s utopian lol
