It’s intellectual dishonest to withhold the definitions you’re using in philosophical debate or on a philosophy forum in general:
Apathy—Uncaring, emotionally detached from the world and others. An Apath would experience a loved one dying, road rage, winning the lottery, etc. with no emotional reaction, emotionally neutered, seems to care about literally nothing and nobody else.
Antipathy—Misanthropy, ruled by anger and hatred. An Antipath is angry about most things in life, and rages about most things as a first response, even ‘small’ matters which most would not understand as threatening. Antipaths can be easily fixated on protecting an ideology or idea, especially when that ideology is irrational.
Empathy—Reasoned, detached from a quick emotional response to stimuli, a ‘delayed’ emotional response. An Empath withholds judgment or “waits to feel” about a situation for more information before ‘deciding’ how to feel about it.
Psychopathy—Compulsive, Addictive, particularly to inflicting harm upon others and victimizing others. A Psychopath feeds upon the pain of others, feeling Elation and Jubilation when others are suffering from his/her own machinations.
Sociopathy—Dependent, Popularity Addicted, seeks-out irrational approval from others in general. A Sociopath wants to be ‘liked’ by others, and everyone, to the point of madness. A sociopathic Leader can tap into the bloodthirsty hunger of a violent mob, or as a Follower, a “Social Justice Warrior” that acts fanatically/zealous protecting what he/she perceives as “morally righteous” to that same mob.
Now it’s your turn, Ecmandu,
Don’t be a coward.
