The biggest issue with Trump is that he’s hellbait.
That makes people ignorant, not necessarily stupid or evil.
Obviously you have to be smart to see trump as trying to destroy democracy around the world. Leaving aside the spiritual implications.
Anyone with half a brain knows trump is a fascist.
So then you have to look at people who support trump as mentally handicapped.
As much as it may hurt you, mental health parity is one of those topics that people struggle with. That a brain disease is equal to a liver disease. There’s infinite stigma for a person themselves acknowledging they have a brain disease.
I find it kind of odd that people are still talking about Trump over one year into the new presidency and global situation. Is he still the president or something? Do people still hope he’ll be president? I find it is more often the “winners” who keep talking about him. Maybe they do not perceive themselves as winners? I wonder why that would be?
Trump is just a symptom of a wider mallaise.
America is broken in many respects.
Today I learned that over half of state schools in the USA survive by having contracts with fast food companies like coke who are allowed to install vending machines all over the schools, poisoning children with sugar and chemical, and at the same time poisoning their minds with a fact food mentality.
Addict them early.
Burgers and fries for lunch. No real foods at all. Not even the abilty to cook in their kitchens, expcet with microwaves.
Children’s development is sorely challenged.
I wonder it Urwrong has ever had any real food?
You were supposed to ignore my murder game. That’s not what my complaint was about. My complaint was about this post, this post and this post. These are the posts that you failed to give a proper response to. Of course, you think you did. But I don’t think you did. So that must be settled. Did you make an attempt to resolve that disagreement? You didn’t.
We all know that you’re a joke that has no genuine interest in conversing with other people and that’s a reason enough for you to be banned from any philosophy forum willing to be taken seriously by others.
Perhaps the only US president not owned by the mafia (unless you count the founding fathers - who were the mafia)
Kennedy … mafia gave him his job.
Johnson… mobbed up
Nixon… mobbed up
Ford… mobbed up
Carter … not mobbed up
Reagan … mobbed up
Bush sr… mobbed up
Clinton … mobbed up
Bush jr … mobbed up
Obama … mobbed up
Trump … mobbed up
Biden … mobbed up
The mobs have learned to adapt psychologically to maintain being the mafia without drawing undue attention to themselves.
Ok. I’ll make three posts and answer it link by link.
I did answer your question. Imagine a child’s best friend is a cow and they ask the child to murder it. The child refuses. So they murder the cow in from of him. He cries. Then they serve it to him for dinner.
He refuses to eat the dinner.
I didn’t answer the question in the way you were hoping, I answered it real.
Shit like that really does happen.
If someone has half a brain, they realize there’s got to be something better than hurting others.
This is supposed to be an answer to one of my questions. I don’t see how. Please, show us the question you’re addressing. Let’s see if it’s truly an answer to a question that I posed.
Alright, so you’re saying that the necessary and sufficient condition for someone to be classified as suffering from ASPD is that they take pleasure in inflicting pain. I disagree. How are we going to settle this? You can restate your position over and over again, and I can do the same, but that’s pointless. That’s why I won’t do it. And neither should you. Instead, you should focus all of your attention on trying to discover what separates the two of us. I am, however, not sure you’re interested in that kind of thing. You seem to be more of a propaganda guy. Your method of persuasion is repetition and shaming.
Here’s another thing. Suppose that you’re right. Suppose that it’s enough for someone to feel no pain when causing harm to others in order to be classified as suffering from ASPD. Suppose that I have that condition. Why should I be bothered? I should really only be bothered if it’s something that is bad for me. But the definition alone doesn’t say it’s bad. So it’s not enough for me to have that condition in order for you to say that I’m doing something bad. You have to additionally prove that it’s bad for me. And you have yet to do that.
