Humanity eventually
A group of or all humanity will eventually perfect high IQ good looking genes/people.
Will resolve all practical problems of the world.
Will perfectly understand the universe.
Will be able to manipulate everything that is manipulable.
This ‘will’ is and will occur.

Well, if this group does all that , then what will stop them from turning humanity and life into their personal tools for their own benefit?

I disagree. If everyone has an equal crack at the best genepool, compettition will have kicked the wrung from under the very unhapiness underlying civilization. People will no longer see themselves as needig to screw themselves out of happiness, if they are wise, or,not be victimized thereof. The material thing evenly distribution thereof, will simply not be a matter of concern, equally, as a consequence.
But this may not occur unless the geneticists take over.
On the other hand, next week or next month or next year, an asteroid the size of Mount Everest could smash into the planet precipitating an extinction event that wipes “humanity” from existence for, say, all eternity?
Really, you need God here. Otherwise the part about being a “mere mortal” kicks in and it’s back to being “star stuff” for the lot of us. Over billions of years as it were.

Amor, there are many ways to use lifeforms. Entertainment, food and just plain old fashioned dominant ego. What good is being the best and strongest if there is no comparision or audience?

All they have is their faith within their own wishful thinking despite all contrary reality that confronts them.
Actually I am not fully sure , there are parts or breeds of humanity that will die off , become extinct but, others will evolve to survive and become other than what we know humans to be. Natural immunities, ability to adapt physically and or mentally. Look at all the disinfectants and antibiotics those of the civilized world use. These weaken the body. What about those that have adapted and survived? Third and second world humans are becoming different then first world humans. Evolving in a different way. They could survive where we could not. Their future as humans could evolve down a path that could not be human.
