To me, it seems like almost every person forgets that humans are animals before everything else. All our behaviorisms can be traced back to our existence as Earthly-beings. We are mammals; science has over-whelming evidence to counter the claim that we think we’re somehow ‘special’ relative to every other mammal on the Earth. In the end, we are born, we grow, we mature, we desire to be comfortable, we have sex to reproduce, we get old, and then we die–just like every (?) other mammal on the planet.

The religiously-inclined are worse when confronted with this observation, because humans are no different from the a common house pet that a person might take care of. Where is our God then? He is man-made, and thus needs to be rejected by many who are religiously faithful.

Now, I know that somebody may feel the need to smear my position and point out how I am wrong in order to justify something, a God perhaps. How is it possible though to ignore the fact that humans… are animals?

I think you’re right. Mostly. Humans are significantly different because of our cognitive level, and i would dare to say, our overall “refinement”. Yet people do think we’re separate from the animals, and that it’s only in some scientific technical sense that we’re animals. If you really pay attention, it’s surprising that we have skin just like animals. Not only do we crap, but we crap just like animals. How unbecoming of us to eat and crap just like animals!

Why is abstract thinking useful? For whom is it useful for?

If it was not useful, why do we have it?

It exists for the utility of hysterias and other various forms of absurdities in finding closure around perpetual chaos all the while at the same time it attempts to reconcile existential anxiety in a cosmos that is unloving or uncaring.

What’s the point? It’s just a largely meaningless classification.

Should we act like apes if we’re not apes? Should we crawl around on our bellies like snakes? Wouldn’t it make more sense for humans to act like humans, and not worry about what the other species are doing?

Gravity isn’t creature made. Yes, there is evidence even before we came into biological existence but remeber it is just recently fully understood.

Now you lost me on Bugs Bunny, haha. My point is there are truths outside us, truths that can be measured in due time or can never be measured by the mere fact it is infinite.

I think the haughtiness of us being rational blinded us that we are in fact finite, that we are uhmmm… a tabula rasa, and that tabula rasa need not and cannot contain all.

and as for love, well love has many different parts or degrees. Some good some bad. I have noticed that most people confuse love with lust. Love does not have to be reciprocated in certain things but it does completeor rather maybe make it more fulfilling? it if it is.
