Victor Orban is a zit on the backside of humanity.
You sound like a Libtard.
Hungary is the country they call, situated in the heart of Europe. It has had imperial, strategic, and social implications, perhaps as no other. Was it not a Hungarian-Austrian prince, whose assassination by Serbs, caused WW1-2? Was it not at the gates of Vienna that the Muslims were finally arrested in their determined journey to conquer the then known civilized world? An ancient culture, barbaric in origin, migrating down the steppes from east of Russian-Mongolia? A very entropic, culture, perceiving itself as having over compensated their lack of quantifiable population, by a very emphatic focus on literacy. Their language is one f the most difficult, unaligned one, with any categorized group of languages, Finnish may be the only literate cousin.
Their contribution to all aspects of knowledge is formidable vis their spare population. Example, their population of ten million is dwarfed by the population of major metropolitan cities of the world, such as London, New York, Mexico City, …
As a small country, their social-psychological stance corresponds to an analogically valid similarity between town and the city. The small town atmosphere can be safely said to be more interpersonally close, familiarity may generate contempt in large cities, but tokens and villages, still echoing the past in architectural signatures, especially signals its proximity to the Middle Ages.
These types of closely identifiable cultural values, tend to resist dilution of their national character the most.
In addition, Hungary is surrounded all around by other countries , having no geographical barriers. Therefore, they erect man made barriers to preserve their identity. They are more foul enable, since a lot of encircling countries were once part of Hungary, loosing them on account of their participation in the large wars of the last century.
For these reasons, Orban’s actions, reflect a national feeling of increased isolationism. Other countries nearby have come to its aid, namely the CheckRepublic, which has similar issues. If Orban’s wants to stay in office, then he better heed national sentiment.
Boundaries have more then just geographic implications, inter social, interpersonal, and even intra-psychic manifestations are effected by small, determined countries, whose only defense against invasion up to now, has been an iron clad insistence on the will to remain a credible, identifiable people.
This is not purple a stance historically taken by choice, but by the impact their geographical closeness to the major power, the Germans, the Austrians, who have had a major role in determining their cultural development in historical Europe.
That they have taken up the symbol of resistance to unbridled immigration, signals the emergence of a new bulwark against national dis-identification, a fear, they have repeatedly had to live with, throughout their long history.
Good post Orbie. Thanks for interjecting that here.
Just one correction, originally Hungary was descended by Huns. Of course given many European groups that have immigrated to Hungary over a thousand years there is virtually very little Hunnic influence left except perhaps the Hungarian language itself.
Of course, no one can forget about Attilla, who almost sacked Rome, was it not the pope himself
begging for mercy? In 410 A.D. He was partly responsible for the demise ofmthenRoman Empire.
The Huns, did come from the North Eastern part of
upper Asia, near now China.
Yes, somewhere near that geographical location but nobody knows for sure. Of course there’s been archaeological evidence of Caucasian Slavic peoples populating that area also.
At any rate hardly any vestiges of Hunnic influences have survived in modern day Hungary.
Further more these statements by the Hungarian Prime minister should be a wake up call for Europe and European colony nations worldwide. More specifically that nations can’t survive on a cheap foreign labor empowered by immigration.
He said it best in how Europeans need to learn to pay more attention at replenishing family households by that of reproduction.
Somewhere overtime European culture has lost sight concerning its own people.
It is disgraceful and a problem that needs rectified. This should be a rallying cry the world over.

Actually, the language is mostly Magyar, which was the settle tribe the Huns conquered and assimilated, or merged with, depending who had the greater numbers. Several smaller satellite tribes were wholly or partly assimilated since then, and the borders shifted back and forth over 1200 years, so there are pockets of ethnic Hungarians in other nations.
As to the Austrian empire, Hungary was partner in name only; really just the largest and most rebellious of a half dozen vassal states, with little influence in at court, though the aristocracy was welcome to send its better-looking scions as part of the royal bodyguard.
Same with their disastrous “alliance” with Germany pre-WWII: the choice was go along or be rolled-over like Poland and Checkoslovakia. The fascist party was not representative of the people; it was just the meanest bully on the block. That’s why they had so much difficulty extracting all the Jews - people kept hiding and helping them.
The present fascist party is the meanest bully on the block. Everyone who disagrees has learned to keep their heads down. SOP
Well, that has been only partly borne out.The court was a dynamic, and dynastic families had greater or lesser influence at court depending on who the happened to be.
There is no doubt, that the Prince Eszterhazy was a major influence at Vienna, as were others such as the
Various highly placed counts, who had palaces in both countries. Joseph Ference was an emperor who had almost equally divided loyalties. The court intrigues were as significant in that court, as they were in Paris, or Berlin, or Moscow. It’s difficult to reduce modern perceptions of absolute rule through so called democratic lenses.
My main point was that this asshole is no more representative of civilized Hungarians than Rakosi was in 1956, or Horty in 1938 or the viceroys under the Austrian crown.

He’s certainly willing to protect Hungarians and Hungary itself from the ravages of destabilizing migrants.
He can’t be all that bad.
Where was he when Hungary needed protection from the capitalist locusts that moved in and gobbled up all the assets left by the retreating Russians?
Funny, how these ardent nationalist types only come out against threats that offer no $$ kickbacks.

I know nothing about that as I am not familiar with Hungarian politics nor am I Hungarian myself.

Arpad Gonz was the first democratically president
ofHungary. Orban had nothing to with the economic changes immediately following Communism.
