Husserl's Phenomenological Experience

Hello Hello all,

I’m brand new to this forum, I am a Philosophy major at Eastern Michigan University, and this semester I am enjoying a Phenomenology course and a course in Metaphysics.

For my Phenom class, we have been looking at Husserl and Brentano, and I was wondering if anyone here could clarify for me the process of a “phenomenological analysis of an object of your experience.” This is where one employs the use of “bracketing” and reduction to describe their experience.

I’m just not sure how to visualize this process, it sounds like it would be fun to try, but I’m not sure how to begin, what I would describe, terms to describe it, etc. If anyone could offer some insight I would be most thankful!!
