I apologize for any confusion I may have caused

I owe people an apology. I realized rather
suddenly last night, I had confused people with
my very sloppy use of words. I realized I keep using
deaf and hard of hearing interchangeable. They are not.
Deaf is, well deaf, but I am hard of hearing and not deaf.
But when ask, I would say I was deaf and I have realized I was
just confusing people. I say deaf, because it eliminates
conversation. I don’t have to explain deaf. but if I say, hard
of hearing, I create conversation, “oh, you are hard of hearing,
what does that mean?” So to avoid that crap, I get lazy.
And for that I wish to apologize. It was shear laziness on my
part and shouldn’t have happened. It was bothering me.
thank you for your patience.

Peter, I think you are being a bit hard on yourself.

By the way, I often do the same thing. I often tell people my name is George. People ask me about “Faust” all the time, thinking, evidently, that I haven’t been asked about it at least eleventy-gazillion times.
