I know not by what name to call

I know not by what name to call this
Alteration of the soul, and its state
That after death it do become, or that it is
One thing here, and there another;
Neither this nor that, neither true nor
False;
To me it is no stuff of this life,
But a new, different, and a peculiar thing._

define “this life”

I am not sure at what point this soul is at this particular moment you mentioned above but the Buddhists might call it a bardo.

Used without qualification, “bardo” is the state of existence intermediate between two lives on earth. According to Tibetan tradition, after death and before one’s next birth, when one’s consciousness is not connected with a physical body, one experiences a variety of phenomena. These usually follow a particular sequence of degeneration from, just after death, the clearest experiences of reality of which one is spiritually capable, and then proceeding to terrifying hallucinations that arise from the impulses of one’s previous unskillful actions. For the prepared and appropriately trained individuals, the bardo offers a state of great opportunity for liberation, since transcendental insight may arise with the direct experience of reality; for others, it can become a place of danger as the karmically created hallucinations can impel one into a less than desirable rebirth.[citation needed]

Metaphorically, bardo can be used to describe times when the usual way of life becomes suspended, as, for example, during a period of illness or during a meditation retreat. Such times can prove fruitful for spiritual progress because external constraints diminish. However, they can also present challenges because our less skillful impulses may come to the foreground, just as in the sidpa bardo.[citation needed]

Maybe you can call it the potential for a new lease on life.

This life of man is just a war-zone to some. Or a race. To some, however, it’s a long journey toward wisdom. A way to understand the greater universe. The journey that will one day lead to the ultimate awakening. Our life is nothing but an ongoing attempt to attain this wisdom. We are seeking it in all ways and in all places, from ancient wisdom passed down by our ancestors to our modern world with its many ideas and beliefs. For some, this journey is haphazard, a spaceship Earth hurtled through a vast, unknown universe. Regardless, most of us consider the journey at least fascinating, something to enjoy.

Our life is a constant struggle to find a place to fit in this world, to find the people and philosophies that support us. We seek out the people who are looking for that same thing. And when we meet them, we try to understand each other. We try to figure each other out, if you will. What is it that drives us? Why are we here? What is our purpose? These are all questions that we want answers to, no matter how we find them. We are looking for a way to help others, to understand them, and to make them understand us. We are searching for a way to connect, if you will. Whether we know it or not, whether we realize it or not, whether we care or not, we all are driven by something we want to share with others.

In our search, we must realize that there is no one way to achieve this. Each of us has a different understanding, experience, and way to accomplish what we are looking for. Our experience with life is unique. We are born of a certain family, place, race, religion, and so on. We all have certain beliefs and biases, because we have been shaped by these experiences.

The bardo is your opportunity to make new choices. It is a state of heightened receptivity. And, it is your chance to make choices that will guide your life after death, just as you make choices to bring about change in your life right now. The bardo is a transitional space. It is also a space of intense potential.

The bardo of dharmata is the bardo of pure potential, a space of super consciousness. In this bardo, you experience a timeless state of pure beingness, of super consciousness. You are not bound by time.

If bardo can reincarnate its karma into an innocent baby, then that act is an abomination a good God would not initiate or approve.

A similar but not exact concept has formulated NY the Catholic word purgatorio, the single state sandwitched between heaven and hell.

However little childrenat experience spiritual rebirth, they may only experience the kind of boundless transformation and transcendence that adults can before death.

This is why they speak ( and that includes children as well) of possessing an old or a young soul. The state of that linkage, does not bind heaven from hell- analogously as consciousness are not energy separated from unconnsciousness, giving rise to all kinds of paranormal activity and the possibility to interpret t h in dreams.

Let me tell you what happened in my life yesterday, as a way to validate syncronicity.

The though ’ blade runner’ came to my mind while contemplating within the contexts of ilp, and wasn’t getting anywhere with that, so decided to watch a show on tv-.

I turned on something about a disabled guy. Oscar Pasterious, and immediately the program’s title, ‘Blade Runner killer’ reminded me of the prior notion with however I wished to fit this in a different context

Mentioning this reinforces the way the mind connects states of mind, in and out of consciousness.

Think what you may

Meno,

The synchronicity happens to me all the time, and I sometimes have to make it stop - controllable like lucid dreaming. What is more important than “signs”? Answer: What are they pointing to? If to crap, the signs are crap. If to awesomeness… no signs needed.

I shouldn’t say I would part company here and i won’t but awesome dreams and all kinds of really good and promising dreams I’ve had recently that i awaiting some fulfillment of.

These signs seem almost prophetic!

Science could be able to see a future that already exists. Big woopty do.

Do not part from the way.

Trying not to however the very subtle conditions pre figured long time ago can not yet align with the differential between them to account to confirm it, with the newer less subtle and insecure partially derivation .

Hindsight does often derail the objective even when inversely effected by a retro revision.

So then?

The time machine revisited.

I don’t know why you gotta speak in code. If we can send spirit or digital information back or forward we can only do that if it is part of the whole/perfect plan. Time travel does not change anything. Just like our choices in our now do not change anything. Yes every moment is in the making & our choices/prayers matter. It is also complete when it began.

So… basically… Is a straight line from A to B always the quickest progress?

If God allowed B because it is an act of free will, and it was an evil act…

No. That’s devolution… not progress.

The quickest way forward is to turn back & let him fix it.

At least let him co-creatively fix it with you, on the same team.

Just like visible linkeage can not be satisfactorily coded to it’s minimal level of aprehension, the marginal blocks will ever appear to grow, as in minimalism the aesthetic distance needs to be shortened to get the same quality of clarity.

Minimalism and reductionism are linked, whereas their corresponding perception may not appreciate this necessity

In hindsight there is no straight line, only an appreciative approximation. As minimalism kicks in, the rule not to violate aesthetic principles like necessary aesthetic distance kick in, .
.

True in the necessity for the act of creation

Hm?

We cannot know this if there even could be such a thing as time travel but if there even could be, my intuition tells me that there is every reason to believe that we could indeed change our future. We are all so inter-connected. How could we possibly know how the most fragile connection can influence or change things.

.

Well, if we decided to do a little time travel within our minds such as pondering where this choice/decision/action or that one might take us in the future, in other words, consequences, our choices in the here and now may very well affect or change our future. That is just plain common sense.

A woman is deeply in love with a man and so decided to marry him – even though she knows that he is the worse kind of alcoholic. Does her choice not change anything for her and for her children to come? Maybe not the best analogy. Every choice we make changes and influences things in different levels.

You just said above that they do not change anything.

That sounds like pre-destination to me. So you think that we are puppets on a string?
Hmmm… Sure, at some point you may think that it is already complete but what is it then? What does it look like?
Is it really ever complete or is it ever-changing?

Do you not believe in second chances?
Perhaps you might want to ask yourself who that innocent little baby was in his or her last life? :evilfun:

I have never had an abortion if that’s what you’re implying. I am pro-life, but anti-judgy. I’m not a determinist, either. We have free will. Try again.

Edit: I had a procedure to remove the inner lining of my uterus due to heavy periods. Now they’re very light. TMI? Get ova it.
