So, if we use the perceived light spectrum as our representation of the physical (physis, nature) then the metaphysical is supposed to represent the range that exceeds this - ultraviolet and infrared.
The unperceived is where they locate their lies … often contradicting the perceived. Then they try to convince you that they see what you cannot see, because you’ve got some kind of prejudice or fear - a blind spot - meaning, you cannot abandon yourself to emotions - to need/desire.
Then they claim that what is seen there contradicts everything in the perceived range, implying that they see and you are blind to what is more real than perceived reality.
They can justify anything, as long as what they are presenting is self-consistent, and emotionally seductive - another sign of a lying coward is when what they tell you is so extraordinary and so positive that you must accept it, if you know what’s good for ya, because in the end, for them, it’s all about personal gains.

The idea that someone can hold as true what does not benefit them in any way or may even be contrary to their needs/desires, is so alien to them that they cannot even comprehend it.
