I Need Teachers - Does anyone want to help me?

A “Good Teacher” is such a rarity to find, but when you finally find one, learning new and exciting information becomes enjoyable and flows much easier.
I have such a desire to well-understand the subjects:

  • Psychology
  • Sociology
  • Neurology
  • Anatomy
  • Subatomic Physics
    and, yes, Philosophy.

I basically am looking for a professor who not only knows the subject, but is good at getting others to understand that subject.
We all like to preach our views to others, but there are very few people out there who know how to actually teach their views to others. Is there anyone that can, and is willing to help me get a better understanding of the things I love to learn about?

Try starting threads in the hall of questions. There are plenty of people here who can pobably answer just about anything you can ask.

I’m only good for genetics and English Grammar. Ooh, and I can teach you colloquial Turkish.

Smears can teach you how to earn a lot of dosh, and still be cool.

I actually very much wish to learn about genetics! Is there any way we could discuss genetics with an instant messenger such as MSN or AIM?

I can teach you how to annoy people.

Interested…

How about you pm me a couple of questions and we’ll maybe take it from there…?

I might be a nutter, you might be a nutter, you know how it is.

There is the ILP chat link located at the top left on the index page.

Depends on how far you plan to go with quantum phenomena.

Sorry for posting personal information

Why not learn on this forum and teach on this forum?

Or are people online too good for you???

Besides, Sophists are snake oil salesmen anyway.

The best bullshit artists.

and I can teach you to annoy this guy ^

I can be really good at it, apparently.

Interested…

I’d like to talk to you about psychology, and, of course, philosophy.

PM me and we could talk via MSN or email.

I find that that appropriate ‘teachers’ appear (in the strangest of places) in accord with our readiness and ability to ‘learn’.
A ‘good teacher’ is only as rare as a ‘good student’.

“If a teacher is indeed wise, he does not bid you enter the house of his wisdom, but rather leads you to the threshold of your own mind.” - Kahil Gibran

Learning how to think would, it seems, come first…

I can probably help you with psychology, you’d have to have at least a broad interest in mind, its kind of a large field, with MANY dissenting viewpoints… send me a PM or post a question…
