I liked him, he was interesting. I don’t like it when interesting people leave, we should stop doing that or making that happen, it is after all a philosophy forum where we should if we are honest condone all forms of opinion so that we can keep it interesting and varied. One of Ilovephilosophy´s biggest problems is that it is essentially an internet version of high school as evidenced by this thread.
And as long as people like Smears, Chester and Mo continue to be here, nothing will change.

Whining about ‘free speech’ on a privately owned forum is like having sex on someone’s front lawn, and claiming some sort of sexual repression when they chase you off with a broom. You’re free to have sex with whomever you like that’s willing – not on my fucking lawn though. I don’t know what it was that Joker got banned for (it was only 24 hours, not a big deal). What?!?! Ty’s resigning?!?! well, I can’t say I’m that surprised about the ban (or his reaction), but fuck!!! Believe it or not, I actually liked the guy. I thought with enough time, I could maybe get inside his head a little more, but alas, he’s gone now. 
Oh, well, I guess I could always join his new forum, but the thought of playing mind games with him on his turf surrounded by his cronies is a little daunting to me.
